  1. i think that kerbals existing for 290 million years is weird and doesn't make any sense. but it's still a cool timeline though
  2. i like it ! does this mean not only are the looks getting changed, but the actual terrain (mun seas, size and locations of the craters, etc) is also getting changed? also, how will it run on slower computers? i recently got a better pc. but my laptop could barely run ksp 1, and i'm worried about people with low tier systems. will there be a setting to set it to high performance but worse looks?
  3. flag for kerb trek, my upcoming RO series. it is inspired by a lot of different things like the esa logo with the flags, the nasa worm logo, the lego space logo, and the normal KSP logo. the backstory of the series is that all country's work together so that is why all the flags (mostly from the country's that are most active in spacetravel right now) there also are a lot of references/easter eggs. try to find them all

  5. I am starting an RO/RSS/RP-1 series, and i am going to use TAC lifesupport. i do however want the kerbalism science functionality. i did find a kerbalism science only config, but it's outdated and it doesn't say that it is RO compatible. so is this possible?

  8. i am going to do an RO/RSS/RP1 career series with future technology, with going interstellar as the ultimate goal... (it will take a long LONG time though...) and i know this challenge doesn't allow warp drives, but i will only use those after i have gone interstellar with STL engines at least once.
  9. @HebaruSan no it was flashing in oand of existance, not moving out of the SOI (in fact, if it would have worked properly, the maneuver should have gotten Minmus Pe closer) 1. no, it wasn't in atmosphere, only after timewarp 2. no 3. no, it was quite obvious 4. no, i'm not a noob lol i have had similar things happen before, but not a few versions back. i don't know when it started, but i do know it didn't used to be this glitchy.

In recent versions, there are a lot of orbit bugs. for example; I was flying a probe to Minmus. i was in LKO and tried to make a maneuver node to Minmus. it started when the closest encounter markers jumped all over the place even when i changed the dv with only like 1. then i FINALLY managed to get the encounter, and i timewarped to it. when i started timewarp, the maneuver did no longer encounter minmus, it didn't even get past the Mun's orbit. not only that, my Pe was inside the atmosphere (only a few kilometers but still anoying). then i corrected the orbit and tried again. i got an encounter (that fased in and out of existence even with the slichtest touch of the node editor) and succesfully executed the maneuver node. but then it didn't get an encounter anyway. when i started timewarping my Ap ended up below Mun orbit (and before it was at Minmus). and my Pe was in the atmosphere AGAIN. then i had to try to get a Minmus encounter AGAIN. then i had a maneuver node that was totally normal with about less than 100 m/s dv. then i timewarped to it and it changed to over 3000 m/s? how? all this continued for quite some time. if this was any other game than KSP i would have stopped a long time ago, but at some point i got a Minmus encounter in a few orbits time, and it didn't disappear when timewarping. but then i was timewarping, and i get a Mun encounter that it didn't show before, messing up the Minmus encounter. at which version did these bugs start? i want to take a break from KSP and then go back to a version without these glitches until they fixed them. some glitches can happen, but this is basically making the game unplayable, making a simple minmus probe harder than a Eeloo mission

I decided to switch to streaming on YouTube only! and my computer is so bad, that streaming creates so much lag that it isn't fun to watch, and not fun to play. so i will stop streaming until i have my new pc. Also, how can i get featured in the featured livestreamers section on the forum homepage?

  14. does this work in RO/RSS, and if not, is there a way i can make it work with config editing?
  15. if am mostly interested about the in space construction, ISRU, and all the other things, not so much the live support system that comes with it, because i think i want some more complicated life support for my youtube series. if i only change the food part, then i think the rest will work just fine? and if it doesn't, i can always still use USI-LS anyway. it's worth a try.
  16. yes i know, and i thought i did that, but i just made an oopsie it works fine, except that the rext at the top of the screen should be left and right of the altitude meter, but sometimes it is on top of it. i will get a new computer soon and i will have to install KSP again (and KER). so i will update it then. well, agricultural parts work basically like resource converters right? i probably could just edit the input and output resources config files. also see the discussion a few pages back.

  21. @Grimmas i always learned that everything in gamedata should go in gamedata. if i recall correctly the USI_etc folder was in gamedata, not the folders inside that but ok i will try.
  22. ok i didn't know about that. when i made that rule i was more thinking about the fact that you can make heatshields that don't cause drag but stil protect or clip a lot of ore tanks together for a lot of mass. didn't think this was possible...
