Today I wrote my first Contract for Contract Configurator. A GAP flight for Kerbin Side Remastered from KSC to Baikerbanur KSC2. Worked like a charm

I use the Kramax Autopilot Continued (KramaxAutopilotContinued 0.4.0) mod a lot and while I'm new to Kerbin Side Remastered, the two are kind of meant for each other. I've completed flight plans for all of the airports and made them available for download. Your can find them in this forum post;

With stock maneuver nodes you do your best to make the most efficient burn. This website has a fairly good overview https://ksp.olex.biz/ and helps to explain how the information is used, In-game Mods like Mechjeb 2 with it's Maneuver Planner or Astrogator help with creating and executing transfers. both are available on CKAN. -

I like this one; https://13375.de/KSPDeltaVMap/ Just pick your starting location and your ending location and it calculates the dV to get there. Reverse the process to see how much the return trip takes. The settings allow your to increase of decrease the safety margins to take more or less dV on the trip. I had this issue with the South Island and South Lake sites in KSP 1.10.1 With Terrain Detail set to high. When I set the Terrain Detail to default the issue goes away and the runway is no longer obstructed.
