  1. I did this when I played EVE Online. I ran a ore reprocessing business with shipping contracts and had to watch my margins in the Jita Market.... Now I get twitchy if I even have to open a spreadsheet.
  2. Thanks. Your second two contracts are failing on these errors //1hr.cfg [ERR 20:23:11.115] ContractConfigurator.CompleteContractRequirement: contractType 'string' must either be a Contract sub-class or ContractConfigurator contract type //2hr.cfg [ERR 20:23:11.264] ContractConfigurator.CompleteContractRequirement: contractType 'string' must either be a Contract sub-class or ContractConfigurator contract type This can be corrected by changing the Requirements section of each to refer to the name of the preceding contract. For 1hr you need this REQUIREMENT { name = CompleteContract type = CompleteContract contractType = 30min minCount = 1 } For 2hr you need this REQUIREMENT { name = CompleteContract type = CompleteContract contractType = 3600s minCount = 2 } You are also getting warnings about the VesselParameterGroup in 30mins contract that has a mixed case attribute. All atttributes must be lower case; Change this to a lower case 'n' PARAMETER { Name = VesselParameterGroup type = VesselParameterGroup title = Hold for 30min Hope this helps, Fly Safe.
  3. Well at least he will have an unobstructed view of everything.
  4. Back in my day we used kites with keys tied to the string flying in a thunderstorm to generate EC, not coal and gasoline.
  5. Team Zissou testing the latest from "@ColdJ Laboratories" Jeb is ready to set sail Diving works well using either the built-in controls the Sunkworks diving controls and valve. The reverse engine is really nice feature! and the lighting is good for the really deep dives. Yes... Team Zissou is happy with the new addition to the fleet.
  6. The hatch just BLEW. It was a GLITCH. It was a- a TECHNICAL MALFUNCTION. Why in hell won't anyone believe me? - Every Kerbal Ever.
  7. Welcome to the party @Gevdei! Fly Safe
  8. Banned for reasons better left unsaid.
  9. Yes. There are two ways to do it. Install Physics Range Extender and set the range to whatever you want. The more range however, the more Kraken. It's default is 100 Km but I don't need to see things in space so I set it to 30 KM You can change the stock physics.cfg file. All the distances are defined at the end of the file. I changed mine to this for testing. I left the space based ranges stock and only altered the planet side ranges. I got the values from this article on KOS - Vessel Load Distance
  10. You discover something new every day... I've had a long standing problem with ships disappearing. Subs and ships were simply vanishing into thin air when they were approached within the normal physics range. The logs mentioned something about the vessel being on rails and traveling at an impossibly fast speeds and then it went poof. This of course was putting as damper on my combined operations approach to oceanic exploration. I did not ever experience similar issues with landed vessels only vessels at sea. Well I discovered that making the physics bubble larger than the defaults of the physics.cfg file actually fixes this problem. If I make the physics bubble 30km then the Bermuda triangle-esque disappearances of my Naval vessels stop. Now I can have rendezvous at sea with air, surface and submarine craft and the Kraken is held at bay. Happy day indeed.
  11. The stuff you've provided in Sunkworks is invaluable to doing things on and under the water surface. Really appreciate the detail you put into it. Thanks.
  12. When you get a message like this you should check your ksp.log for additional error messages that might indicate the source of the issue. If you post a your KSP.log and the contract .cfg files we could take a look at them and see if we could help sort it out for you. (you'd need to put them on a file share service like Google drive and post the link for it)
  13. Have you turned on Contract Configurator debugging for logging? Look for the file ContractConfigurator.cfg.default in the GameData/ContractConfigurator folder. Edit it and follow the instructions of how to turn on logging. Then restart your game, and detailed logs about how you contracts are being loaded will be in GameData/ContractConfigurator/logs.
