  1. Hey don't discourage other people to enhance the game. That's very discouraging . Remember, we gotta keep a positive note here Also, what's API?
  2. Launch into Kerbin orbit, Fly and land on Duna's surface, return and land 10 kerbals safely on Kerbin's surface... Without encountering a single bug. Any bug or glitch qualifies as an immediate faliure and the challenge must be restarted. Should be easy, am i right? its not like im asking you to land on a big body... like Jool proof would be good on a video to ensure there's no cheaty exploitation either. no infinite fuel or strength. just stock KSP2
  3. I don't think it gets any harder than returning from Jool. Also, Is it true that Jool has a surface in KSP2?
  4. Cough* Wheeze* Sputter* "Hey... why's everyone lookin' at me for?"
  5. it is actually true when it says a part broke. I remember seeing a YouTuber once getting around this bug he had on his spaceplane by (i think) clicking off to the side, and then somehow regetting control of the vehicle. He then proceeded as normal and took off... that's when his right wing fell off.
  6. I used that to emphasize my point, i wasn't screaming at anyone. In english, it's called a "hook". You DO realize that was the first post in the thread. right?? As part of the positive forum movement, I thought it would be nice to raise people's spirits and maybe shed some positive light in the midst of the rocky launch, but in pure honesty, this forum is so divided by equally strong opinions on KSP2 that it feels just like politics (not bringing that up, just using it as a comparison). This is my last post on this thread, because you know what's more disappointing than KSP2? the people who are making such a big stink about it. Can we not have a positive talk on KSP2? [snip] @Gargamel Its best in my opinion to maybe lock or delete this thread. its lost its meaning.
  7. Same bro. Ima need to wash my eyes of this glory when im done
  8. I don't think Private Division would be happy selling $10 games. I agree that the business department was lazy but i know that Nate and the great devs here would not short-end us on purpose. Many times the designers are rushed by irrelevant, financially hungry business executives so i think we should be kind to the devs, give them bug feedback, and criticize the real culprit here, executive teams.
  9. When do we get to the part when the United States finesses the USSR on the moon and slam dunks itself back to earth Safely?
  10. The amount of times this man has made me search up "Google Define" is unprecedented
  11. To be honest, not naming names, one or two of them fall close to that category, or at least the hyperbole/passively sadistic part. but i do agree with what you are saying though. Maybe im also speaking for everyone while in reality, its only a percentage
  12. Well, destructive, demeaning, and degrading criticism doesn't help the "3 years waiting" fact and just because we are butt-hurt about the bugs does not give an excuse to loosen up our behavior in the forum and get down-right dirty. That's not a problem with the game, that's a problem with us (that is, the forum). All we should see is the bug, a description of the bug, and maybe an occasional "i really hope this gets fixed" or "Man its a shame i can't dock my lander, i hope the devs improve on this". That is hardly what's been going on. Of course, you can state YOU are dissapointed but you cannot say the game is an overall dissapointment cause then your speaking for everyone (and let's not forget the fact the game isnt even past V0.1. maybe i should just spend the rest of my time here in the KSP hype train thread before this community entices me to leave again
  13. https://photos.app.goo.gl/vLRMTP9GoYQyk97m9 hope you guys like it! Depending on how y'all like this one, i may make a second one
  14. @Maria SironaMy problem isn't people reporting the issues. its people using it as an excuse to say unnecessary things or to exaggerate beyond belief. This is literally the reason why we NEED a Positive Forum Movement. View these 3 messages and you'll get a taste of what i mean. (Snip)
  15. Well, that's longest paved runway... I know KEDW's largest runway's look like this: These runways reach over 20,000 feet long easily and they technically can go much farther since its all flat. they just choose not to @Periple Edwards Air Force Base - Wikipedia Read the length of runway 17/35.
  16. definitely note are you looking at the chinese military runway or KEDW's asphalt runways or KEDW's Sandbed runways (which are EXTREMELY LONG)? I know one day, we're going to whine, bicker, and moan that the runways aren't long enough... just like we did in the last game lol (maybe jk)
  17. Runway looks to be at least 7km long (~4.375 miles for us americans or about 23,100ft long, which is about 12,000 feet longer than most international airport runways) I will say we can simply measure it by driving a vehicle to one end of the runway and have the other one at the opposite end and then make the vehicles target each other for a more accurate measure btw @Periple believe it or not but i actually made my prediction before i saw your screenshot, since i almost always scroll to the bottom.
  18. Im not sure what to say other than at least the company has our money no matter how much we play it, so they'll still improve on it whether there are 20,000 people playing or 20.
  19. Yeah and direction control can be dependent on the angle of the solar sail against the photons, managed by RCS thrusters or the now less powerful reaction wheels. after all, a solar sail pointed 45 degrees from the direction of travel of photons shouldn't have the same effect as 0 degrees it would also come at the cost of not being able to control efficiently and no gimballing.
