Hey folks, what are your favorite worlds in KSP2?
DerkyJerkyWreaksHavoc replied to Maria Sirona's topic in KSP2 Discussion
Bro they are all SO good! I guess the only few places not as good as the average are Eve, and the tiny Bop, pol, and gilly moons. Everything else is out of this world -
yeah that's the point. Also, you won't get sucked in if you are above the event horizon, or the point where escape velocity is the speed of light. Maybe just a star with a small (mass) black hole and a stripped planet. The black hole itself would be interesting enough to make a new system Plus, i would actually keep the accretion disk if we had say a supermassive black hole in the center of the galaxy. It would add an extra challenge to avoid it and would provide amazing visuals, like Lyneira said. Maybe it would also be a rich source for science

Im thinking about buying a Gaming PC worth about $2042 cause i don't feel like building one but im not sure if it can handle KSP2 or not. I looked at the specifications for KSP2 but im only smart for Aerospace stuff and Princess Daisy, not Computer tech. (sorry if i include some unnecessary info): -CPU: Intel® Core™ i5-13600KF 3.5GHz -GPU: NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX 3060 12GB GDDR6 -Motherboard: ASrock Z690 PHANTOM GAMING 4-ATX -Memory: 2x 8GB DDR4-3200 Patriot Signature Line (16 GB total) -OS Storage: 1TB Kingston NV2 M.2 NVMe SSD

wait... isn't that a quote in the song used during the Early Access Trailer? I am Kerlock holmes https://youtu.be/STTTp9nDFOE

So i guess we'll get multiplayer in 15 years and y'all thought it would be 2022
-
oh so we're right there! Given that these patches are like 3-4 weeks, then maybe things are looking up after all. Plus, we will get Procedural radiators!

COUPLE OF YEARS?!?! I think that's WAY too far of an estimate. I would say 1 year away at most given that science comes just before colonies

Do you play with G-Force and Pressure Limits on?
DerkyJerkyWreaksHavoc replied to jpinard's topic in KSP1 Discussion
KSP has water pressure? No for real, like i actually didn't know that. Why can't we have a 50g limit? These kerbals are so spoiled lol -

I don't even know anymore. This is starting to remind me of the transition of the 2016 luigi community on Miiverse -
It is confirmed that the abbreviation stands for Orbital Assembly building which is for floating assembly buldings at orbital velocity around a celestial body, capable of building ships, ideally, interstellar ships. This is done via gathering resources on the ground and having some sort of part(s) in space to combine into a vehicle construction building, in which the resources are used to create spaceships. And for future reference: "BAE" Stands for "Base assembly editor". That way, nobody will have to answer that question . i mow the lawn... so you don't have to!

Show and Tell - Procedural Radiators
DerkyJerkyWreaksHavoc replied to StarSlay3r's topic in Show and Tell
How did i never read this thread?? I LOVE THE PROCEDURAL RADIATORS! For some reason, every time i saw them in the thousands of times i saw the KSP2 trailers, i thought they were solar panels stacked and clipped through each other. Plus, it looks amazing! -
Couldn't have said it better myself! Welcome to the forums @Scrufdog!
-
Will do! or not! i don't know! What i do know is that KSP2 is about to become more fun and engaging. Patch 2 is another big "W" for the KSP community.

Ask the Mods questions about the Forums!
DerkyJerkyWreaksHavoc replied to Dman979's topic in Kerbal Network
Unfortunately, unlike KSP2, the forums are not a sandbox for likes. I would try not to think about it cause people may just rebut with "don't blame the player, blame the game. there's nothing you can do about it (By game, i mean the forums)". But i agree 200%. I do understand some manipulative sadistic people use, abuse, and diffuse the toxic idea of thinking one is better than another due to likes. But this isn't a toxic community, is it? wait, now that i've seen some recent posts, is it? nah... wait... You have been downvoted. (jk). I am a firm believer that thumbs up equalsso i am part of the problem, not the solution -
Since when did KSP2 promise life support?? [snip]

Neutrinos... A Safe Power Or Drive Source?
DerkyJerkyWreaksHavoc replied to Spacescifi's topic in Science & Spaceflight
Correction: Ion engines require no magic to build and no magic to generate thrust from. It may blow a couple of fuses though -
Playing KSP on my school laptop.
DerkyJerkyWreaksHavoc replied to pyropelush's topic in KSP1 Discussion
How did you get KSP on your school computer?
