For me it doesn't really matter who has a microwave, as long as I can heat up my hot pocket.

There is (was?) a microwave oven on ISS because it was broken last year.
So, a fake sensation.
That's interesting. I wish I could find when it went up. I assume its on the Russian module, unless something just happens to get lost in translation. I don't speak or read Russian so have to rely on google translate. The last I was aware of was convection ovens that heated up to about 160 to 180°. Good find

Admittedly that was my first reaction to until I realized this was Russian news. I know I cannot find anything on the NASA website about any microwave oven on ISS currently, but who knows.
It wouldn't be the first time the public wasn't told of something.

Unless something has happened very recently I am unaware of, this would definitely be the first microwave oven in space. While a microwave oven could work without gravity, it couldn't work without a way to keep cool i.e. pressurized air as an example. Otherwise it would quickly overheat and fail.
My understanding is that a microwave oven was planned for ISS at one time but has not been launched due to safety concerns with power consumption and RF interference.
Anybody have better info on this?

Forgot your prime Liable to get points taken away...
I couldn't find a picture with the number, but trust me this is NGC 4639 in the constellation Virgo.

I just got another forum rules popup. Has anything changed? I couldn't see anything major in a quick scroll through.
Didn't have a copy of the (new/old) one and didn't have it memorized. I am wondering the change as well.

Been stuck with Satisfactory since right after the update 4 drop. Keep planning to return to ED as soon as I can get Odyssey and have undisturbed weekends.

I started thinking that maybe the goatee was getting long enough to be a safety hazard (I work around machinery) so my wife chopped it off with her Pampered Chef shears...

Always go with the wife. Mine says she has to stare at me more than I stare at myself so her opinion trumps mine, can't argue with logic like that.

I will admit the aurora is cool, but there's also no records saying it exists.
Not going to"conspiracy theory" or "area 51" it to death. Will just say I have this feeling and add that the SR Blackbird didn't exist for many years either

Lets see.... Favorite that I myself would love to fly everyday? The Yak!
Favorite as in would love to try and sheer awesomeness? The Aurora!

whereas methane can be used in both chemical and nuclear thermal rockets and many chemical processes to generate more complex molecules, and isn’t toxic- though it is very explode-y if you mix it with oxygen and I still wouldn’t want to breathe the stuff for any period of time.
I would hate to breathe methane since it's not a noble gas and breathing it without oxygen still results in asphyxiation the same as breathing only noble gases. It is, about, 30 times worse as a green house gas as well....
But the harvesting potentials!!!

This one popped up a few days, I had forgotten all about it! been stuck in my head ever since!

Banned for the modulation of ground vehicles and lack of modulation in your voice.

Why yes, I am constantly attempting to do both!
TUBM is frustrated with the latest KSP release as it is.
-
I really like the fast and furious franchise, I really do but the way they 'use nos' and shift through 36 gears can be so irritating at times!
-
Last I left him he was with a new SSTO around Duna ready to dock with my station there. Plan on leaving it that way for a while in this save until next release.

Eh what is the point of KSP?

It depends on the person and what they are looking for when they are deciding to buy it
At it's core, KSP is a soft introduction to rocketry, space, how to move between orbiting bodies in a solar system and how to build those vehicles that can accomplish this. It is arguably a fairly realistic space flight simulator. Trust me when I say 'soft'. Using planetary bodies that are smaller, cute little green men and women that just "puff" and come back later in case of failure are just some of the things KSP tones down from reality.
Big examples are when NASA used the game and community for real life ideas on asteroid sampling.
https://www.nasa.gov/feature/goddard/2016/gamers-tackle-virtual-asteroid-sampling-mission
It's even loved by Elon Musk who arguably uses it for inspiration for Space X.
https://qz.com/391876/one-of-elon-musks-favorite-video-games-kerbal-space-program-is-finally-ready-to-launch/
Want it more real? Do what Elon does and add/make mods to take away the viel and reveal how hard getting to space can actually be on Earth. Want it more arcade? Dial the options back and throw kerbals into space on rocket chairs.
It can be a sandbox where everything is open and available, you grab and build what you want and let it fly. It has progressive gameplay, where you must either complete Science! to advance, or take on various contracts to earn money to advance through the tiers.
And mods, oh the mods!
There are various 'Easter eggs' to find throughout the solar system as well as geological features that, after the graphics redo, is actually very stunning to look at. Challenge yourself to get a rocket to land on Eve (Kerbalized Venus), take a sample, plant a flag, and get all your Kerbals back safely to Kerbal Space Center (KSC). Or just get into Low Kerbin Orbit (LKO).
Built a monster craft with power to shake the oceans, build a drone that just buzzes across the water to the island landing field. Follow the challenges on this forum if you ever run out of ideas.

Really, the whole point of it is to have fun and maybe accidentally learn a bit of rocketry along the way. It can show you just how silly a lot of space science fiction shows really are. Just remember that it's not everyones cup of tea and not everyone cares for it.
