  1. @jinnantonix I noticed that your last couple of videos have none of the UI from the game in them. Is this intentional/by design?
  2. For me, Matt Lowne and Orb8ter. And at that, it's primarily tutorials so I can see what I'm missing in my own knowledge and then try to incorporate that into my game playing.
  3. For starters, 7500 m/s is way too fast to do re-entry. You should aerobrake on several passes, starting with a Pe of 65000m. Kerbin's atmosphere will help slow you down. You should also point retrograde and fire the engine as you reach Pe, but only fir a few seconds on each pass; this will also help slow you down. I am, of corse, guessing here; you should really provide more detail, such as planet and shots of the craft.
  4. Your log file indicates an access violation due to tying to write to an invalid location. At the very bottom of the log file is the output for the stack trace, and at the bottom of that is a location for the crash file. Please check that and upload that as well. It should be noted that someone else here recently had the same issue; you can check their thread to see if what they did helps you.
  5. And another heh heh heh-heh-heh. This is what happens when I have too much time on my hands during the day.
  6. ATV Gemini VIII And that completes Gemini VIII / ATV.
  7. And I finally, for the first time ever, dropped something on Eve's surface. This was the hardest thing I've ever done in KSP. Ever. I did a quick-save once I achieved Eve orbit, and I must have tried every known strategy for getting to the surface known to Kerbals. Direct descent, multiple aero-braking passes, using fuel, not using fuel, using the engine as a heat shield, decoupling the engine early...everything. In the end, it simply ended up being sheer dumb luck that got me through. And those heat shields I encased the probe in? Yeah, they were nearly useless. On 99% of the descents they exploded in the atmosphere leaving the probe all innocent and exposed. Which then caused it to explode. To be honest, I wish I would have taken video of this so I could watch it and remember how I did this so I can do it again at some point.
  8. And my first-ever landing on Eve's surface. Venera III And that completes Venera III.
  9. The two of us that are that far have done D1. So please do the same.
  10. FrI'm the Wikipedia entry on Discoverer 1: I'm going to hold you to D1 unless you can show me where you saw it didn't achieve orbit?
  11. One of the reasons I got upset with Watch_Dogs was that Ubisoft added things into the game that could only be done online. You had to purchase an Xbox Live account and play online in order to accomplish certain things, and if you didn't, you couldn't get certain rewards or that elusive 100% completion rating. My first fear would be that the use of this in KSP2 would be for the devs to force people to pay for extras in order to get the best play. I'm not talking about DLC, but rather core functionality. The second thing here has already been mentioned by others, and that is the potential for abuse and scams related to it. "Your account has been suspended due to malicious activity; click here to validate your crypto account to continue playing." No thank you. Like @K^2, I would instantly pass if this was part of the game. This raises a question for me. Will the game only be available on Steam? Or will we be able to purchase through Intercepts site?
  12. Wrong. Now it will be @Akagi, who still needs to start working on the historical space race.
  13. Nothing wished, nothing granted. I wish people would post wishes when they grant one. Sigh.
  14. Banned for the use of proletarianism.
  15. @ravixbwo Please see the following thread, and then provide a bit more information so we can help you.
  16. And just chugging along! Luna IX And that completes Luna IX.
  17. You will notice that a lot of these firsts were launched well before the first actually happened. Voyager II is a great example having been launched in 1977, years before it did either fly-by. There are going to be plenty of discrepancies in the flights; my focus is simply on playing through the space race. Remember that not every challenge is for every player.
