  1. a more fun experiment, how long does it take to get to the mun and land.. 0 on kerbin --> 0 on mun for save reasoning lets say it will take, in real life time 15 minutes, with fast forwarding etc.. if we try to do 60fps with the 4,981 it will only do just around 1.38 minutes before we run out of "frames" do the math to see how many "frames" we can have with the amount of comments that they are here, a second.
  2. hype really isn't hype right now, its still getting its tires inflated.
  3. it will make my jets/rockets really small.. cannot wait to make cargo planes, og
  4. "falls over off of chair" (had to much lemon lime water)
  5. also no idea if this was posted at all, but on steam nate did a post on ksp2 The day is nearly here! This moment feels a little bit like dropping a kid off for the first day of school. We've got a lot of love for this game - we think we've prepared it for every eventuality, but we also know that it has more growing to do. We're about to take the first steps on a journey that will eventually carry KSP2 through colonies, interstellar travel, and multiplayer. Now the real learning begins! What to Expect On day 1 of Early Access, players will be able to create and fly vehicles in Sandbox Mode and visit any location in the Kerbolar System. They'll also have access to our first four interactive tutorials, accessible via the all-new Training Center. These teach basic rocketry concepts to give new players a head-start on their space programs. You'll encounter new parts, including new procedural wings, new wheels, new command pods, new cargo parts, and new engines (and the first of the new fuels - liquid hydrogen). To pave the way for the upcoming interstellar-class parts, we've also added a new, larger core size. As we progress through Early Access, we'll continue to expand on all of these features. We can't wait to finally see what creative feats the community can achieve with the new procedural and color-customizable parts. Our environment team is eager to watch players explore the revamped terrains of the Kerbolar System (and are curious if they'll discover anything unexpected). The UX/UI team is keen to learn how the updated user experience feels - they've put a lot of effort into wrangling a very complex set of requirements into a new, more streamlined presentation. This is it - the moment has arrived when all our plans come into contact with reality! There are many new features, big and small, for you to explore on day 1. We've put together this guide to give you an overview of what's new and to break down some known issues. Release day notes and future patch notes will also live here. In the launcher you'll find reporting tools that you can use to tell us about any problems you've encountered, as well as give feedback about any other aspect of the player experience you think we should know about. This feedback will be invaluable to us as we continue to improve the game's stability, performance, and playability. What Comes Next Many new features will arrive as we continue development, including Science Mode, Colonies, Interstellar exploration, and Multiplayer. Take a look at our Early Access Roadmap for more details. In the meantime, we're bringing back Weekly Challenges! We intend to mix things up a little bit going forward, but the first challenge will be a classic Achievement Challenge: Primary Goal: Fly to the Mun and get a picture of a Kerbal in front of the most interesting feature you can find. Stretch Goal: Strand a Kerbal there and pick them up with a second vehicle, returning them to safely to Kerbin. Jeb-level Goal: Do any of the above on any other celestial body in the Kerbolar System. If you want us to see (and maybe share) your achievement, use #KSP2WeeklyChallenge on social media, or share them in our official Discord. Welcome to KSP2! The journey begins!
  6. below avg... only to the mun? max with one to duna, and was seconds a frame
  7. So notes so far you NEED struts. SAS modules are way way weaker, and will not just lonely support the rocket. you need rcs, or more sas modules. (Reaction wheels)
  8. fps alpha--> beta transition graphics.. its a overall downgrade for 0.1.x unless there is DLSS or fsr, its almost not playable on a rtx 4080.. like
  9. i really beg the devs to have DLSS and FSR, in some form on release.. if you want players to be able to play that is going to be a must.
  10. counterpoint 5600m/s "cruise missile" at your 4 o clock, for the funny it wont be missing.
  11. still show that they are asking for brute force power to get playable framerates. as what was my first problem with the specs that was announced, with the specs they are asking, any game can play. and 1.0 is in ______________ time, so who know how long before it gets better. or even before 0.2.X cause we already know 0.1.X is not going to change.
  12. pretty much this. going based off of the community of gaming, and not the "year per year" term of what is "mid range" of X generation there is people still using gpu's from 2016 making them 7 years old... and even so the rtx 3080 is still a high end GPU, not flagship.. i hear "quite" a few people having rtx 3070s and below all the way down to gtx 1650's~ rather than anyone with a rtx 3080 and above. and 1650's are rather new to the gamers eyes, even if the preformance is not "on par with the rtx lines" if you look at the amount of people having "worser gpu's" than rtx line, thats where most newcomers/new gamers can afford.. due to the huge crypto craze that happened, not alot of people recovered from that really. people don't buy into the newer gen gpus every year/other. i can completely swallow my pride and say the last gen 2000 series is a more budget, lower range gpus but the rtx 3080 is still a high end gpu's.
  13. The template is a little long, i think we should only need post the Template once with full system specs. and then we just repost ontop of our original until we change graphics settings/etc. then it would be a simplified. parts/amount (can estimate) location/alt fps/feel of the game (anything interesting the user wants to add) Photos/Videos. finish not the entire length of the "where during this flight" just the immediate form, and then if the user WANTS to add what is like.
  14. no, bloggers can talk bad and good when the game releases, unless they are in a contract to make videos for money
  15. embargos drop normally the day of release, if not on the minute.
  16. with a 4090, it bloody should work.. its really like saying "i need lift this 100'lbs up 2 ft", and proceeds to get the LR11350 off of space X to do it, and put it on "heavy load" mode. like.
  17. now, LOWSPECGAMER, where you at, lmao... oh.... oh wait, he has changed his channel...
  18. i really hate the supers, i can understand the ti's but god the supers. first gen rtx was a mess overall
