  1. @Alexoff I am openly asking... What do you want? Is it so difficult to answer?
  2. Nope. You can search around the forum and find plenty of things I am dissatisfied about. But I am aware how much time is required to sort that out, and I don't make silly statements and requests. I mean, what do you want them to do at this point? Hide holidays? Worst idea ever (explained above). Work to death? I'm repeating myself...
  3. If after 2 months of patches you are burning out your team What about previous 2 (also huge assumption) of trying to meet the release deadline? Things add up quickly. Edit: It's also hilarious that we're talking months here. The worst case I've been in was 2.5 weeks of 6 days a week with 10-12 hour work with no break. After seeing that the end was nowhere near in sight, I just... declared that I was done with such schedule. I got fired of course, but good riddance anyways.
  4. Bummer for less frequent patches. Though expected, considering summer approach. I would appreciate more details on what is planned for upcoming patches before science though...
  5. Expect less patches. We're not quitting, we're on a break. Totally fine with me.
  6. Ksp 2 isn't something vital for survival. Far from it. So again, what's stopping you from buying it? The disaster here is someone's dissatisfaction with the current state of the game. If they need 1year to fix that, would you deny them going on vacation for a full year? I'm amazed honestly. Someone mentioned the word entitled, but now I'm thinking about more sinister terms...
  7. I'm getting strong deja vu vibes, but I'll bite again. This is true for every industry. No one forced you to buy anything. What is stopping you to... not buy something you don't like?
  8. Me too. I think I'm in the purgatory at the moment. On one side, there's a functioning game that I once considered awesome, on the other side, there is a Kraken with a mermaid's voice. C'mon patch 3... c'mon!!!
  9. This is very annoying to me as well. Especially when trying to move boosters up and down.
  10. Gah, you're correct. My wishes clouded my memory. I have no idea why fairings (and making them) is changed. KSP 1 had a perfect implementation. @pandaman Nah, my bad. It just opens half of the fairing.
  11. There should be an eye icon when you hover on fairing that toggles transparency
  12. While I'm not a fan of clicking a button at a designated area, there are at least gonna be some different, weird shaped science parts, and progression system is overhauled... that is, if I understood latest AMA correctly. Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to it. I badly need that carrot stick to push me forward. I never liked sandbox.
  13. @K^2 I'm not in games, but web (backend mostly), and Git is absolutely dominant. I was only using SVN to pull some source code from very old repos, but I have no working experience with other version control tools. Just out of curiosity... are there any benefits to them?
  14. Yes. You have a tool called Git to track, merge, pick changes. And for all devs here:
  15. Err... you're gonna have to point me to that quote. I remember that he said some wobbling should be present, and I agree with that. But he also mentioned that current level of wobbling is unacceptable. I can only see that through posts of other players who seem satisfied with optimisations done so far. I have a beefy PC, and I was playing this game maxed out from day one. I forgot where that quote is from. GoT? Also, read my previous post about slow and steady updates. Thus, I disagree... If we get monthly patches that are effective as the last two, then no. It will take significantly less. Patience.
  16. But they are not ignoring them. Wobbly rockets are clearly one of the priorities (my biggest gripe for now). Patch 2 introduced some major performance boost, allowing lower spec players to get a taste of action. Complaints about maneuver nodes were partially addressed. Progress is being made slowly, but steadily. That gives me confidence. I cannot realistically expected them to fix everything at once.
  17. @Alexoff Once you start dealing with clients... Never publicly display what internal problems are. If you watched ShadowZone's interview with Nate, you can see that he wasn't happy with the state of the game (or rather, release date). A few more months were required for a proper EA release. But here we are, and you cannot just drop everything and walk away. Keeping optimism is good for both parties. We also have no idea how many features are hidden from us, so what we see, isn't everything that was developed for all this time. This is gonna take long, but I'm happy to have something to toy with, rather than just get 10 seconds of a gameplay footage every month. I got sidetracked with the answer...
  18. No. But there are rules on how you should communicate with the public. And for good reasons.
  19. I've coded... I don't know how many forms for user input by now. This is some basic stuff, usually delegated to junior devs. It never, ever worked correctly on the first try. Human brain isn't very good with basic logic.
  20. More engines? Seriously? I never got an impression that Kerbals hate Kerbin so much, that they need even more engines to escape from it. This planet really needs more love. Better add some harvesting machines, so we can grow crops, enjoy the nature, and be content. Farmville done it like... 10 years ago. Really disappointing
  21. Yeah, but I wasn't very active these days, and I'm lazy to search through the forum. Eh... You know the drill. You can't really publicly say "upper management forced arbitrary release date upon us", so we dance the dance. I'm still happy though. This is gonna be one heck of a long EA period, true, but even now there's a lot of useful and constructive feedback on many features, which is a positive thing overall. I don't expect to play this game "seriously" until v1
