Release KSP2 Release Notes - Update v0.2.2.0

Wait, what? -
Give us integrated Mech JEB ! No one taught us more for orbits, transfers and dV than MJ. Long live!

Why has the UI to be so ugly?
didkodidko replied to tomkpunkt's topic in KSP2 Suggestions and Development Discussion
I find the IU cluttered, non ergonomic and hard to watch on a first glance. In addition to the bad style choice, the position of indicators for atmo hight and g's are barely visible. SAS buttons are very badly placed and so stupid with this rotating plane in it. -
Hey, Just watched Nate's presentation at Space Creator's Day and it's lightly to say I'm almost crying. I'm one of the frustrated day one players, was supportive in the following 2-3 months, but seeing that none of the core issues were solved with patches, plus bad performance, lack of comms and frustration when I try to use landing gears and wheels, I went full anti. SO, watching this now, seeing Intercept making the right moves with Blackrack and QA dept. and literally seeing all my frustrations (physics related mostly) will be addressed, I might allow myself to be faithful. +1 Faith restored. Best,

Weekly Challenge #35: Land on Laythe

Hopeful days gave me purpose. My take on Val (better Jeb) level. Will never be possible after reentry heating. Cheers, -

Lately Val is the one. Cheers

I dare to argue. Try blackrack, scatterer, paralax, waterfall, TUFX, Textures unlimited and planet shine. Then speak.

Copenhagen Suborbitals joins KSP
didkodidko replied to Copenhagen_Suborbitals's topic in Welcome Aboard
Huuuge, go go CO -
Reported Version: v0.1.4.1 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: win 10 | CPU: Rizen 7 5800H | GPU: RTX 3070 | RAM: 64 Simple moon mission. 1st flight. No other flights in game. On 1st stage staging in Kerbin orbit there were two additional ships generated in Kerbol orbit visible in the map and tracking station. Inspecting them found out that those were 1st stage and the command pod of my current ship with no kerbonaut inside. My original ship was Ok as well as the first stage was still in suborbital reentry. Mission was completed ok and it did not affect anything other. Weird.

Let's start playing KSP2 again. Last time I played seems eternity. Well done DEVs -
You promised us communication, where is it?
didkodidko replied to RayneCloud's topic in KSP2 Discussion
I recall according to @nate the whole team is burning out of excitement to share with the community. -
You promised us communication, where is it?
didkodidko replied to RayneCloud's topic in KSP2 Discussion
Please elaborate on how it's using different code for physics, aero model, terrain projection, terrain generation and patched conics. Like the real things that makes the difference? Set aside candy and music. The base is the same and this is the major problem. Literally all the bugs we're going through now is available in KSP when you using Mods for space or bodies scaling. (Land on Deimos on the latest RP1/RSS and you'll see) [snip] -
You promised us communication, where is it?
didkodidko replied to RayneCloud's topic in KSP2 Discussion
Reminder that Starship was a metal sketch when KSP2 was about to be released. Starship is monumental task, KSP2 is based on something that was already done and had a great community feedback, yet they don't how to do it. It's pure incompetence. -
Any news on 0.1.5? Wen?

You promised us communication, where is it?
didkodidko replied to RayneCloud's topic in KSP2 Discussion
For me, it's not the lack of communication, but the disrespect to community of engineers, pilots and scientists (like.me and most of us). We're treated like toddlers... All the information except release notes is vague. Start sticky at least for the progress over the most pressing matters like potato struits, different parts acceleration, potato collisions, unstable orbits (by the way this a problem with kopernicus scalling too- never solved), potato symmetry, potato wing editor (it does.not represent correctly the link between the parameters in the editor and the attitude of the wing) and total mashed potato airmodel, PID setting on the air surfaces are also tuned by a fish. Like the things that actually makes the game unplayable. Cheers engeneers -
