Are you kidding me? 50$ is nothing, for someone more, but it bounds to a promise made. Take a credit when they do something right? Are we in the kindergarten? Isn't it delivering something that was promised to be considered is right? Not expecting credit when you achieve your promises is considered right also. Should we give them credit? I gave and they underdelivered. Is it right to apploud the devs? oio

KSP 2 is a perfectly playable early access game (v0.1.4)
didkodidko replied to Vl3d's topic in KSP2 Discussion
Did quick Apollo style mission just to check 0.1.4, mun orbit, separation - orbit decay - alt + f4 -
Reminding Devs that one month for between patches for such a buggy-woogie product is criminal in the minds of the Kebals and no candy will stop us pushing! I have the audacity to push you because you charged me for tech demo.

Yeah good burn All I want to say that I don't feel home with KSP2, It feels like being in unfinished mock up. Cheers,

Duna’s atmosphere is too thick.
didkodidko replied to BowlerHatGuy3's topic in KSP2 Suggestions and Development Discussion
It's the best thing that KSP player can do. I play only RSS and it's magical. -
Cried, so hard imagining that. Where is our saviour.
-
Well, You have mentioned a lots of things that in my view are terrible like staging on the right, navball on the side and everything else you were so kind to mention. Never liked to be in the sameballpark with the new fanbois playing ksp2. Unfortunately the core players will go away. Like I'm doing it now. Keep it to yourselfs, anyway it's born dead. DONT FORGET TO STAY TRENDY! Cheers,
-
Trendy nowadays doesn't mean ergonomic, neat or useful. I work in 3dsmax and to be fair, UI has changed since 1998 in terms of materials, polishing of egonomics and accessible menus, implication of modern tools and together all this has changed the look of the interface, but the logic, general arrangement and feel are the same. KSP1 interface is prooven and polished, logic and arrangement is sound. Experiments for the sake of trendyness is a mistake. Im all up for the best of both worlds but for now KSP1 can give a lot more. Best,
-
Thank you all, I agree with all of you, first its the waste of space, then it's the big letters, then the pixelated icons and lastly the lack of clarity. I know it's still early and will be eventually made ergonomic, there are also some improvements in vab navigation that's worth it as well as in the interface, but most of it is bad. Bad like tasteless modern vegan meat. Just was quite frustrated getting back to KSP2 after glitchless build and mission to Titan in RSS. Best,
-
Hi all, I'm in a period with a lot of RSS/RO lately, as KSP2 it turned out to be great disappointment. I'm sure that things will get better but can't help but notice that compared to OG - the UI, saves and parts manager are extra bad, I'm wondering why you had to redo something that is working... So please set option to use OG UI and saves and managers. You should have focused on new game engine and even if you reused every asset from the one, still it would have been better sequel. Best,

Release KSP2 Release Notes - Hotfix v0.1.3.1
didkodidko replied to Intercept Games's topic in KSP2 Dev Updates
Yeah was going to write some nice words about the redone maneuver markers, then I tried docking and return Mun mission. So after landing on the Mun I departed and plotted intercept course to mothership, two times my orbital speed gets zeroed and there is no orbital lines. Lastly the mothership decided to change orbit to collision course to the mun, just like that. I remind the developers, orbital mechanics is the core of KSP, if you are unable to to implement it, look at KSP1. Its done there! PFfff. Slowly understanding that KSP will be only one for ever... Shame -
Reported Version: v0.1.3.1 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: windows 10 | CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800H | GPU: rtx 3070 | RAM: 32 Well, since first EA release there is no option to select 16:10 resolutions like 2560 x 1600 or 1920x1200. I have to go and edit cfg to get it. C'mon it's 1h job to fix this. Legion 5 Pro - Mobile RTX3070 and AMD Ryzen 7 5800H Latest Nvidia drivers. Same on desktop with i7 4090 and 2070 Best,
-
From what I see as a pattern in the updates is that deep groundbreaking bugs like soi trajectories, decupler, wobble, weird physics will be part of the major engine overhaul most probably with science update. Until then I'll keep the faith.

Now this is what I call responsible, clear and transparent! Almost lost fate Nate! Thank you for proving that light is still shining.

Release KSP2 Release Notes - Update v0.1.2.0
didkodidko replied to Intercept Games's topic in KSP2 Dev Updates
The great expectations! -
What are the QA doing?
-
Hello, Since the release I cannot select 16:10 resolutions like 1920x1200 and 2560 x 1600, actually the only resolutions I get is 1920x1080 and 1280x720. Machine is Legion 5 Pro / AMD Ryzen 7 5800H (Radeon Graphics) / RTX3070 / 32GB. To do so I have to edit the config file. Hope you make it work, Best,
-
To be frank, I'm not playing KSP 2 since I have full glory modded KSP1 RSS/RO and it's better in every way than time spent in KSP2. I'll be back when science and optimization is a thing. When is 2nd patch scheduled for release?
-
KSP2 gameplay experience as a whole - how do you play it?
didkodidko replied to Siska's topic in KSP2 Discussion
Sporadic flights to Mun, minmus, eve, duna and jool. Not much fun to be honest. The game feels unstable to say the least -
how long do you think it will be between roadmap updates?
didkodidko replied to jastrone's topic in KSP2 Discussion
I don't believe private division. There is more than a month since release and there is no info for the second patch. I doubt that roadmap updates will be in less than 6 months in between. We got broken modded with worse physics and some eyecandy coated KSP1 instead of true stellar physics sim. I'm playing KSP1 until physics engine is changed for good. -
Don't sweat on it. Play more and you'll get it.
