  1. Any update on this yet? This is a pretty significantly game breaking bug… I really don’t want to wait another 2 months for the next update just so I can play the game as I was prior to this update.
  2. This just happened to me earlier today.. I did a de orbit with my command pod. I noticed my speed wasn’t changing much as I got lower into the atmosphere. Still going about 2000 m/s at 20k in altitude. It seemed like there was no air resistance to slow me down. Then at about 5k in altitude it started to lift like it had wings on it…. It flew up to 10k in altitude as if it had some kind of lift from wings on it. Then it started to fall back down like normal. That was the most bizarre bug I’ve encountered in this game so far personally. Lol.
  3. I would absolutely love if they did something like this. I know it’s a space game and all but.. being able to explore oceans on distant planets would be incredible.
  4. That pre alpha image looks incredible. Sort of reminds me of the pre alpha footage of explosions from 2019 when they showed those off in a Dev update. They looked incredible vs what’s in game now. I hope in the near future they can implement that stuff back into the game. Im sure it was likely a performance related issue. But now that the game is starting to run much better maybe they can start to add some more eye candy.
  5. I know Nate had mentioned this would likely be coming after 1.0. (or maybe it was Dakota who said that? I don’t recall) but I really hope it’s much sooner than that. Being able to use a joystick, or a gamepad with sticks to have smoother precise control while flying would make this game soooooo much better. Flying a plane using keys on a keyboard feels very awkward to me. This would make wobbly rockets much less wobbly as well. Currently when you are controlling your rocket you are pressing the WASD keys on your keyboard. Which is basically like going from 0% input to 100% input. That sudden change in motion certainly causes a lot of wobble on your rocket. Using a gamepad or a joystick to be able to slowly ease into a turn would be much smoother and rockets wouldn’t wobble as much. Plus it would be more realistic rather than the sudden jolts of movement tapping the keys on the keyboard. I understand the devs have other priorities like bugs and performance and other things they are working on.. but being that this is a game about flying planes and rockets, having the best options for flight movement should be a higher priority than where it currently is imo. So please devs… please implement this into the game sooner rather than later. I love this game and im having a blast playing it. But I really wish I could have smoother controls.
  6. Thank you for the update Nate. I’m looking forward to patch 3. Ive been on a short break from KSP2 lately, but I plan to dive back in once patch 3 drops! Hopefully… Maybe….. MAYBE… in the next Dev update you can give us a sneak peak at a possible estimated time frame the Science Update will drop. Maybe a month? Like, sometime in September? Or sometime in Q4? Anything. Something. Thanks!
  7. This is the 2nd time you have gave me a shout out Nate. The first one is when you showed off my first Space Station a couple weeks now. And now I’m very happy that you guys took my suggestion for this weeks challenge for the community to build a space station!! Love it!! I honestly haven’t seen many people building them yet in the discord screenshots channel. So I can’t wait to see some new designs from people. Building space stations and docking parts together in orbit is my favorite part about this game so far. I’m also very excited to see new docking port parts coming in the next update!!!! You guys are awesome, keep doing what you’re doing. Now I need to come up with a very clever Space Station design for this week… I better get to work.
  8. Appreciate the update. Although I was hoping for some more info on when heat and reentry would come to the game. Hopefully soon. I look forward to the future patches.
  9. Did I just get a shoutout from Nate Simpson himself?! Yes I did! Very cool!! That’s my space station with 2 shuttles in the bottom right of the first image. (Schwing2727) I never played KSP1. I’ve been playing KSP2 since launch and maaaaaaan it’s been an awesome ride. Learning to intercept with other objects in orbit and then docking with them has been a wild experience learning to achieve. This game is amazing. Thank you for the update and thank you for clarifying some things. You guys are awesome, keep doing what you’re doing!
  10. Current bug I think. I’ve had this happen to me a few times as well. Quick saved on the launch pad and reloading works.
  11. Im having a blast with this game. But my absolute biggest issue is not being able to use a joystick or a gamepad for smoother flight controls. Flying planes with a keyboard using full input of on/off really breaks the immersion. I know it was mentioned in the past that support for gamepad/joystick will eventually come… but adding this sooner rather than later will make this game 100% more enjoyable imo. Pleeeeeease devs.
  12. The past 2 updates were a month apart. If we assume it will now be about 1.5 months between updates, and according to Nate there will be more updates (plural) prior to Science (let’s assume 3 since he didn’t say a couple. He said “more updates” ) that’s another 4.5 months away at a minimum. That brings us to mid September now as an earliest possible time to see the first major roadmap update. That’s about 7 months after release. Im a little bummed about this, I won’t lie. I was hoping it would have been a quarterly thing. 4 months or so between major updates. Nonetheless, I still love this game. I have a little over 100 hours in it now and I play it almost daily if not every other day when I have time. It definitely seems to have a bright future ahead of it. Maybe once these initial patches roll out more, the bigger roadmap patches will come quicker. Time will tell. Either way I’ll be a longtime follower and player of this game. Thank you devs for doing what you do.
  13. I hope this comes sooner rather than later. I recently started building some planes but controlling them with keyboard keys feels very awkward. I would love to fly more in this game but I might wait until we have some smoother controls. Controlling rockets would likely be much better and less wobbly if we had more smooth precise controls as well. let’s get this in the game soon please, Devs.
  14. I was hoping for some info about what you’re working on for the next update! But I’m guessing thats what the next AMA will be for. Looking forward to it!
  15. WOW!!! Another incredible update. You guys are amazing. This makes me happy!!!!
  16. I feel so defeated right now After spending all weekend building my first space station, Today i loaded up my save file and as soon as the game loads, my space station starts to shake back and forth violently until it starts to rip apart. I tried all sorts of things from quickly turning off SAS or RCS, keeping them on, changing direction, anything I can think of. But no matter what it will shake and rip apart within a couple seconds. It was orbiting fine last night when i last saved it. I dont have any other save files because ive read so many stories of peoples save files having issues I didnt want to clutter my game files up. So I just had that 1 save file. This is such a huge bummer for me since I spent so long building this. I really hope the Devs can get this game figured out soon and fix all these issues the game has. This is the first major issue ive had and it really hurts my experience with the game. I likely wont be playing now any time soon until i know its safe to do so again. That was alot of time wasted and now lost.
  17. 21:9 is supported. That’s what I’m playing on. 3440x1440p
  18. The Capture camera controls blew my mind. Have these been in the game since launch?! This is amazing. But it makes me wonder what other controls im not aware of. I never played KSP1 so Im new to all of this. (Or at least I was at first) I have about 100 hours in the game now already. My personal feedback would be to have the control settings updated with all the current key bindings in the game.
  19. “Enabled switching between vehicles in atmospheric flight“ heck yes!!! Can’t wait to replicate some SpaceX Falcon 9 launches and be able to switch to the booster and land it. Then switch back to the 2nd stage. Thank you!!
  20. I’m happy to see my little Kerbal making the list! I have the one with the cockpit view. Schwing2727 I hope to see a dedicated cockpit view eventually. The interiors look awesome in this game.
