    First, thanks for snipping images Second, those are both from K. Kermulan's story. Sorry it isn't more explicit. The text boxes are different colors--red for Kermulan, yellow for Kerman. The point of the first one (where the text matches) was to demonstrate that, indeed, K. Kermulan is writing a story with K. Kerman and his friends in it. The point of the second one ("You'll do as I say!") is to demonstrate that K. Kermulan really doesn't get K. Kerman's non-murdery emotions. Kenlie Kerman just placed his fate in Lisa's hands and asked for her mercy and trust. Those are definitely two qualities in short supply on Kerbulus And yeah, I know I'm supposed to be dead, but explaining it saves us from several pages of speculation etc.

    I do use GIMP when images need to be manipulated beyond the limits of powerpoint--for example to design uniforms, and for certain special effects. Right now I am in GIMP reconstructing the Kerbulan uniforms and heads, in fact, which were "inadvertently" lost in my recent computer transfer. I do have thumbnails to work from and some of the source files, so the new ones should look pretty much the same as the old--regular programming will resume shortly

    For a ship the size of a class-E asteroid I think the fact it maneuvers at all has to count for something But hey, let's have a few more pages! Ahh! Ok so I really did want to finish digging myself out of this plot hole the full reveal of Kenlie's visions in this update, but I think this is a good place to leave it for next time. All of this was done in 1.1 by the way, and the interior views--while very cool--are not as easy to work with as Free IVA was in 1.0.5. Still working out how to do everything--hopefully someone mods some additonal camera controls for the interior overlay, that would be a big help. In other news I accidentally lost all my old animation poses, so I'll have the joy of making those over again! Yay!

    I think one good 'feature' of the long time taken that readers have more time to reflect, and i suspect re-read. I'm noticing that peoples' recollections in the comments are much more accurate these days... for example people recalling very specific details about Wernher when he told Gene maybe it'd be better not to go to Kerbulus. So will I scale back the posting schedule on purpose? Probably not. Life has a way of making you take breaks from things, so if it isn't my philosophy is to keep going. I guess I'm a bit like Kenlie; the story has to get out of me, I don't really have a choice.

    I know! I have an intercept though, so it's the next thing after next, really! But still facing the twin black holes of being really busy and replacing a computer, so we'll all have to wait just a biiiiiit longer

    So an update that is not an update: I am getting a computer replaced this week and that unfortunately means I won't be able to make new pages until it's done and I have saves, crafts, textures and mods all re-installed. So don't worry, I'm still here, and enjoying 1.1 very much. Just ask Tedus!

It all fits now--that day you wanted to use the telescope… your freakout on the bridge… and that sensor glitch! It was a Murderdeth scout, wasn’t it? KENLIE: Okay, okay! So why didn’t you tell? Why lie for me? LISA (holding kpad): Because despite being a complete and utter goofball, you’re a good kerb who’ll do anything to protect his friends. So if you didn’t tell, you must have a reason. KENLIE: I do! Well, I think I do. LISA: Good. And you’re going to tell me what it is, right now, or I’m bringing your k-pad straight to Dilsby!

Not that just one screenshot is a big problem but I wouldn't want to form any bad habits Home from baseball, Kuzz Jr. was 1-2 with an RBI and as second baseman hustled for a nice 3-4 putout at first. [international translation: he scored an acceptable number of runs before being dismissed, and dismissed an opposing batsman by adroitly substituting himself in place of the wicket-keeper. Or something.] Now getting Kopernicus and Kerbulus running. I'm not sure Free IVA has been updated yet, will experiment with the new cutaway feature but may keep the 'sound stage' in 1.0.5 for internal shots. Same deal with Animation Suite.

    Still have to get Kopernicus/Kerbulus and EVE working, also tweak some settings on Texture Replacer for the "pressurized" crew areas--but yep, looks like the critical stuff is all GO! And yes, WOW, it is easily an order of magnitude faster. For the first time ever I'm looking forward to the next maneuver
