Still faster than ion engines!
-
Why isn't the ion tech listed under propulsion?
Felsmak replied to Galileo Kerbonaut's topic in KSP1 Discussion
The ion engine is basically a lightbulb on steroids. -
What's your "YES!" moment when you research a part in career?
Felsmak replied to Sesni's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Solar panels. Going anywhere further away than LKO while maintaining aesthetics is a pain. -
Da ba dee da ba di. The user below me is partially responsible for the locking of the original Famous thread.
-
I'm not saying it's aliens, but...
-
2/10 I kind of remember your name. Wait. My thread! Locked! Restarted by someone else!
-
It's ballet in space!
-
Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. I don't care either way.
-
I have no skill level; I am above and beyond all of them.
-
Well, that's a bummer.

On the Ethics of One-Way Landing Missions ...
Felsmak replied to LameLefty's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I never strand Kerbals anywhere without proper housing and a neat looking way to get home. That's why manned missions anywhere beyond Kerbin are such a huge challenge for me. -
What did you name your first rocket?
Felsmak replied to Spacewalking on Sunshine's topic in KSP1 Discussion
The oldest name I remember is Armstrong's Choice. -
HOLY JEEZUS (Odd glitch/evil omen)

That's where the Event Horizon went. -
All of them. I am so 1337!

Grinding at Minmus!

Carrier mode - how to get started?
Felsmak replied to alkopop79's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
You can also take surface samples from the launch pad, the ground around the space center, the water, the beach and the mountains. Keep grinding until you can afford the small solar panels. Then you can recharge your batteries and start earning some real science at the Mun and beyond! -
After running around collecting dirt like an idiot, it felt nice to unlock those solar panels and finally get to do some real science!
-
A probe on its way to the Mun.
-
The first one. I'd remove the text, though. It's a flag, after all, and a flag should look good from either side.
-
Wait, what? Jettison science? Oh...
-
0.22 is out and a career has been started. This is getting serious!
-
The 0.22 space center looks pretty!
-
I've been cleaning up after the great retraction. No already existing landing gears appear to have been spared.

A theory for why Kerbin's gravity is disproportionate
Felsmak replied to JMBuilder's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Or maybe it was just programmed that way?
