    Everybody starts out badly. Research new science instruments as soon as you can and take readings on the pad before launch, in-flight, and once landed. You won't be able to do that on each flight, but on successive ones. Take small science instruments with you on any flight where you're going someplace you haven't been before. And stuff like that. Welcome to the forum.

    Guys, fictional companies led to rivalries with ridiculous amounts of anger and personal attacks on our forum, so we've had to forbid this kind of "roleplaying," such as hiring employees and taking on jobs for others. It's not clear what your intention with this thread is, but please avoid that sort of thing.

    Well, this thread's gone rather off-topic. Yes, ccoel, you encountered an old but fortunately rare bug that sometimes happens when a ship or kerbal comes into contact with the surface of a world. That's all it is.

    I don't dislike Dres, but it is a little harder to get to and a little less rewarding when you do. For one thing, it's small and doesn't have an atmosphere, which means it requires a large burn to enter orbit without the assistance of aerobraking. It's also kind of a small target. And it's less scenic than most of the other worlds because it doesn't have a moon.

    It automatically changes several times as your post count increases, but yes, you can also change the "member title" by clicking to edit your profile. Also, moved to Kerbal Network, since it's about the forum.

    I don't know what's going on here, but it doesn't belong in Add-on releases.

    Spambots seem to come in batches. I can go a week or more without seeing any, or I can swat 5 in a single night. And yes, for some reason they show up more frequently in what is, for me in US west coast, late night.
