I like the new forum. It's more mobile friendly than it used to be. A refreshment is always good from time to time. Also all those notifications about sbd quoting you is very kewl imo.

I never have any problems with RCS setup. Just take a quick look at CoM and put the ports on both ends just so it's more or less in the middle. Though a 5-way RCS port and a way to disable yaw/pitch/roll on them would be nice.

Yes, please, but only working in atmo. A scoop that gathers something in vacuum is very unrealistic. Especially xenon. I think gathering xenon in atmospheres would be a pretty balanced game mechanic. You can't use xenon engines in atmosphere and can't use it to generate power either. I mean, you land with empty tanks, gather the gas and take off heavier. Not like it gives you advantage, or anything. Would be a nice way to generate money if you wanted to truly go full capitalism mode. I, to be honest totally would. Buy all that science!

I am aware of that. I actually wanted to quote you about dehumanizing and say how much I understood what you were talking about there. I'm a Pole and I EXACTLY knew what you meant. I also meant cloning only organs, not a fully functional body. But I fell asleep.

Not sure if it's a good idea or not. I'm no ethics expert, or whatever (tbh I just don't want to start an argument that has high chances of derailing towards religion topics) but I would have nothing against growing my own body organs in case one of them fails. That's kind of cloning, right? Also, wasn't there an anonymous woman who agreed to give birth to her own clone, or something? Or was it just some sort of hoax? She was named Eve, I think. Do you mean HUD? Like in modern jet fighters? The navball serves the role of artificial horizon pretty well imo, but I wouldn't mind getting HUD. Also some other things like radar alt and those little cool gauges from fighters' dashboards. -
I didn't really mean SciFi. What I meant was more like "Why aren't we mining those platinum reach asteroids for profit IRL" kind of thing. Basically what we can do, but don't IRL. We have ISRU (sth possible, but still not used in everyday rocketry) so why not put in an economy wystem based on that? I also mean a whole new tech tree in that second new KSC. The parts would be the counterparts of the ones from main KSC, except with slightly different stats. My thoughts are kind of messy today, but you hopefully understand what I mean. Just look at N1 and Saturn V rockets and you'll get the idea. Different tech, same purpose.

Meh. Not a fan of legendary notched rocket engines. There's gotta be some other way to keep career mode interesting after completing the tech tree. My dream is to have this sci-fi-ish, near future economics system where you go out and mine for precious materials (Looking at you, Xenon). Then if you have enough money you can buy another KSC somewhere else on the planet and launch new missions from there. And maybe research different type of technology there too? Not better, just different. Like when Soviets and US were having their space race, except you are in charge of both sides.

Cool idea, but I don't think I would use it very often. There used to be a mod that did this. Not sure if it's updated to 1.0.5 though. -

Well... I really don't want to argue, but the game is almost unplayable without KER and KAC. At least for me. I also added KIS and KAS just in case I'll be in need of fuel hoses when on the ground. Also Watneying things, amirite? I like the game a lot, but it still needs some things to be implemented. -
That's unusual. I have a really poor laptop with 2.2GHz and my average FPS is around 20.

I'm no expert, but I think KSP depends a lot on processor clock speed. What's yours? E: 3.5GHz, right?

I kinda want something like this, but I think it can all be done with mods. Though I'm definitely setting myself a modded Elite-like server once multiplayer comes out. With economics, space yards, alcubierre drives and other sci-fi things.

Would be nice. Also a helipad for VTOLS, because why the hell not? And as always: more places to launch vessels from with varying types of pads and runways, just so they are not all the same.

I'll probably sound super mainstream and all, but I always liked the Millenium Falcon. The shape is nice, it's actually fairly symmetrical and wouldn't have that much CoM/CoT offset issues + I'm a fan of big, glass cockpits. For IRL, or almost IRL ones: the concept of Nautilus is pretty neat. Looks nice and is modular. EDIT: ummm... What did I just do with this post and how do I fix it? -
