  3. heh...I am not much of a namer (most of my ships end up with names like "Sat for Polar Minmus orbit" ) which is why I installed this but glad to hear you accept suggestions
  4. If I may be so bold. When you have the time would it be possible to have the option of reverting back to the language select screen? It seems once you pick a language there is no going back. Also just a thought on this mods future. Ever consider something like community science, where the community can submit names for addition to the mod? THank You again for all your time and effort on our behalf.
  5. Hmm yes, 1.0 was very buggy as was 1.0.1. 1.02 was fairly stable 1.0.3 lasted less than 24 hours and 1.0.4 was very stable. 1.0.5 took up too much memory to be playable with out a lot of lag. at least for me. 1.1.1 seems less stable than 1.1, at least for me it does. User experience may vary.

  7. OK so further testing of landing legs. @SQUAD a PSA warning players to retract landed craft's landing legs before upgrading to 1.1.1 would probably be a good idea. The foot deployment animation is still a bit wonky but work fine otherwise.
  8. I dont know if 1.1.1250 is more or less broke, I haven't had time to play much but I can say at least the landing legs are not under the ground any more, and are looking good. Thank you for the fix!
  9. Finally got time to load up KSP, and installing modular manager did not fix the issue. still no worky. Not that big of a deal since hot fix inbound in the next 24-36 hours. It is supposed to fix this. Quote Edit

  12. Enough with the merging already! ack!!! the whole forum is for KSP not just this one single thread. KSP = KSP 1.1. Constantly merging thread after thread into one megathread is anti community and just plain stupid.
  13. Here in the US it really isn't a problem. I was speaking more to the countries on the axis side of the war. They actually do have a serious problem with wanting to sweep it under the rug. Both in Germany and in Japan speaking about World war two is extremely taboo. Not that I am advocating for the use of these flags in general. I think people forget that context is everything, and are overly sensitive to individual images and words without consideration to context.

  17. Like I said. Since KSP version 1.1 is the official version of KSP, it makes exactly zero sense to roll all discussion into one thread since it is the equivalent of rolling all KSP discussion into one thread, since KSP = KSP version 1.1
  18. I am actually confused by the whole mash everything into one thread thing. They have never done that with any other release. KSP1.1 is KSP and KSP is KSP1.1 . I am not sure why they want to mash all discussion of the game into one megathread. It as if they don't consider 1.1 KSP to be an official fully released version or something.
  19. Went and tested things and wheels do behave even less like the real world equivalent than they did in 1.0.5. The first set of wheels you get is completely jacked up! The LY-05 is clip into the ground, and most of the time blows up when you initiate physics. The other ones(I forget their name) initiate horrible wobbles much worse that 1.0.5 and then promptly destroy themselves. I am sure I could make something that works to fly but would I want to NO! Wheels in general are wonky in the extreme based on the other ones I tried also. It is like they are both on glass but then suddenly they will stick like glue. I am luckily a rocket man so not a big deal to me but wow I bet the spaceplane guys are mostly livid. I hope rovers are not too horrible since I need to make some of them now for my vanilla play through. Edit: Oh ya breaks, do the new ones even work. Even the more advanced wheels seemed to work poorly considering in the real world they can hold a jet in place at full thrust. In short if real world wheels worked this way I probably would not make it to work alive, I live in MN USA and am no stranger to Icy roads but these wheel behave as if they were on a an ice rink, even with high friction.
  20. @Alshain I don't disagree with you but your video them plain shimmied exactly like in 1.0.5, I guess I don't see how it different. But then again I haven't tried to make a plane yet in 1.1 so I probably should shut up. Also your point about the newbie runway being illogical and silly is spot on!

  23. Hmm. I find the idea that different PC rigs have different physics interesting. I wonder if the variation is due to various operating systems.
