StainX replied to Crzyrndm's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
This mod is just too good and thats why i have a question: If i restart the game, (after crash for sure) it always gets back to the weak "stock" SAS, is there a setting like "Enable on Startup and use *PROFILE* as default"!? Thx for the effort on this mod, hugs and cookies for you, sir! -

Does this happen to anyone else?
StainX replied to arkie87's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
Oh a few weeks ago a did an apollo like mission (again)... and everything went nominal until re-entry, this is where i realized that those lazy engineers (me) forgot the parachutes... well stuff happens If yu're ever angry at ksp just imagine a T-Rex building a Rocket with his bare "hands" -

Kraken infiltrated your parachute! Thats why i play on hard with savegames and revert, and because to simulate stuff like new ssto's. You could also see that as technical failure, like "parachutes didn't open", they sadly also happen in RL :/ Ur game, ur decisions! -
Rosetta, Philae and Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko.
StainX replied to Vicomt's topic in Science & Spaceflight
Look closer... the shadow stops aprupt of that thing in a straight line at the end. I think its the CONSERT antenna/instrument Edit: Hmmm the landing leg is not touching the ground, at least the shadow is not close to that leg... -

w8... didn't they say that the ankers have fired, but they are unsure if they attached and consider a manual re-fire of them!? -

They for sure talk about what they have achieved on ksp recently
-

Those look really nice, well done! Standard sizes would be neat so i could remove the DR shields

What Are You Planning/Hoping To Do In KSP In The Near Future?
StainX replied to michaelsteele3's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Thank you, Sir! It looks like it fits under some fairings, so i could launch it on top of a rocket, like the X-37 -

StainX replied to michaelsteele3's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Wanna get as realistic as possible with default scale parts, kinda simulation like gameplay would be my next progression in difficulty level Sounds hilarious... but just a few days ago once again i tried an apollo like mission, everything went nominal (well the rover went out of power, so that thing was kinda useless) until re-entry, at that point i realized that i forgot the parachutes on the CM. The crew was not amused, i can tell ya, poor kerbals I guess i need a pre launch checklist Edit: Wow, Frank_G that is one lovely ssto (return vehicle), may you share the craft file? -
[0.90.0] Fine Print vSTOCK'D - BETA RELEASE!!! (December 15)
StainX replied to Arsonide's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Question: is FP compatible with RSS (x6.4) ? -
hey, love that 1/10th config! Realistic KSP without the disadvantage of using "too big for kerbalkind" parts Oh, im still looking for a realistic isp configuration with the isp difficulty scaler, if someone has suggestions... please let me know Edit: That thing (as its posted in the OP) seems to be working for me.

For me, linux is not that great at game performance as it is in windows, especially the physics calculations! Every damn rocket (even the small, low-part ones) slow down game speed to catch up with physics... this is kinda annoying :'( Lets hope that Unity5 will give us a stable x64 windows version!
