I think there might also be a Mod out there that contains a set of parts that act smart under certain conditions? A series of these smart parts might not steer the ship (although they could, but not well), but could very easily automate a ballistic landing sequence. Chutes, heat shield, legs, etc.

Moved to the Network. Curseforge is a separate entity from the KSP forums. We believe they are under contract to be listed as the ‘official mod site’ for KSP, but I don’t think SQUAD has any say in how the website is setup. Your best bet is to try their support link you posted.

Along with everything said above, they started doing this because of brand control. You get a wonky game on your system, and it corrupts every other save file you have, people won't blame the bad game, they'll blame the console. Console makers don't want a reputation of "Yeah they have a lot of good games, but there's a huge number of broken games too". The forum has had a few engine changes in the past, and a few major hiccups, where data was not retained. We haven't had one of those in many years though. So it's possible either the "last visited" date wasn't retained in the switch over, or the old software didn't log that data to start with.

Yes, it is. And in it there was discussion and links provided on docking and rendezvous. Because you shouldn't be using maneuver nodes for docking. I had just assumed you misspoke and meant target indicator on the nav ball.

It means you have a floppy rocket. Autostrut (Turn on advanced tweakables in the options to see them) a few parts along the length of the rocket to tighten it up.
