Thanks! Somehow my google-fu is lacking. Now I just have to find the right numbers to make me happy, but 2x size and 1.5x atmosphere height makes for a fresh experience already. Hmmm, last thing might be to adjust Kerbol to still have the possibility of eclipses on Kerbin. ^^ -

Reload an older/healthier version of Earth without population and put it into clipboard, rearrange the solar system to safely accommodate a second planet precisely opposite Earth-1, paste Earth-2; delete existing artificial objects, copy relevant infrastructure for modern yet clean cities into good spots, move over people intelligent and civil enough (yes, by my standards); multiply orbital debris around Earth-2 until spaceflight is no longer possible to safely keep the rest in one place of the galaxy.- 61 replies

probably the best mod in this case, since you do not have to deal with anything else because it just adds that one thing you needed. Slopes are still funny though. Better pick a good spot in orbital view/map mode. -

For a landing mission one might want to: Send preliminary data back home, move a copy to the crew capsule to return to Kerbin, leave a copy in the instrument to move them into a second crew capsule for shorter voyages or for uploading into the mother ships lab on longer trips to start processing right away.
