  1. Notice something? It rotates!!! After stumbling over Squiddy's tutorial on youtube ( @Squiddy Are you the same person? ) and being a bit grumpy about how dumb my artificial gravity section of my ship lately looked, I tried rebuilding his stock rotator and putting it in a very simple space station (which I then alt-12'ed into orbit). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lrVKFKRDFm8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPkNXkH_0_0
  2. Starting to build some more extravagant designs as opposed to my usual in-one-line concepts. TWR is horrible without its "emergency assistance engines" ...
  3. The problem - as usual - comes from KSP not specifying what liquid-fuel is meant to be and at the same time using it in atmospheric planes and rockets at the same time. In reality I guess making H2 and O2 from water - which can be found almost everywhere - would be quite possible, no?
  4. Would it be difficult to expose all parameters - body size, atmosphere specs, orbit data, rotation speed/interval etc. - in a file similar to the settings to easily change them?
  5. Only recently started playing again. More like dabbling in stock KSP while waiting for 1.3 and my standard mods.
  6. Great game. Never managed to play on higher than "commander, please come over here and press this button, sir" difficulty though. ^^ But I could draw on the experience during my first ksp EVAs from the satellite capture and MMU missions here.
  7. WE are not getting off this planet ever. Neither us right here specifically nor we as the population of Earth. Transporting billions of people of a planet may never happen realistically. The species might have better chances to survive if we settle other planets/systems. But this cannot justify leaving behind 99% of humanity behind in terms of letting them deal with a wreck of a planet or society. And I refuse to accept that we cannot accomplish both.
  8. I would have liked to be playing Civ6, but since I try to cut down on my gaming expenses, and because I had no luck with any of the raffles/lotteries, and because none of my regular streamers seemed to have any spare keys for give away events, I just started playing Civ5 again - lost already several hours of sleep, still good stuff!
  9. Kerbal Space Procrastination I have not seriously kerbaled in a long long time. Always waiting for the next update, that last mod to catch up, yet another incoming update ...
  10. Natural selection. Those tribes from down there "brave enough" to not run away from/apply fireballs to spiders havo long gone extinct.
  11. Would an older settings file from an earlier version still work?
  12. I am not sure? The way it always worked for me was, I place thrusters where I see fit and the game decides which one to fire when I want to rotate/translate.
  13. Maybe add -popupwindow as well for safer and easier alt-tabbing.
  14. Really thrilled that this is actually possible! No more struggling with how to break up my station into launchable portions without adding yet another two parts (docking ports) and same for less wobbly orbit-assembled ships. If I could code, I would have beaten you by three years!
  15. Yeah, "I" might suffice. But do not tell me whether or not I wish to bask in the radiance of one of my apostle's face! I am just generally curious to see the people I interact with, if even only one directional (reading posts, hearing during casts etc). Speaking of which, was there ever a "face reveal" of @KasperVld ? I think I have seen every dev at some point, but not him. Regretfully I missed the last Gamescom - mere 30km from my place - and then he left, so no chance to meet that cool cheese chunk (Käsehäppchen).
  16. I - kerbit, there is no way to capitalize I for emphasize - do.
  17. "Don't say goodbye. Say Good Journey." - Eternian Farewell (Picture heavy)
  18. Most likely caused by the ultra dense material in the core of the planets.
  19. I am always amazed how you lot put code together from different programs and stuff, almost as if you knew what you were doing!
