That's cool, most of the time it's not even an issue, but when I was playing earlier, it was do a launch, shut down game leave, come back do one launch, shut down leave, repeat again and again. that was really the only reason I even noticed it. when I actually get to sit down and play for a while its no issue at all. no worries. -

@TriggerAu Also seems like the option to replace the stock resource menu works, but doesn't stick between Flights. Thanks for all the hard work on this. EDIT: between game restarts, sorry for the error there. -

Doesn't seem to recognize Electric charge, if it's the only resource on the craft. -

Heh, I was getting ready for bed last night when I edited the pictures and typed that, so typed it wrong. oops. It was a Level 1 R and D. {starting facility} I don't remember what the pop up said, and looking back over these pictures, I think I need to not make bug reports while tired, as the R + D one is not showing in the science archive picture, so I may have simply not been in the right spot and thought I was. Will need to double check when I have more time and not exhausted. Sorry for wasting your time with this.- 469 replies

@nightingale I ran into an issue where field research contracts aren't completing properly again, not sure what is causing it. I took this contract to do science around the KSC: And did the experiments, but only one of the 4 completed, the other 3 didn't: and as you can see, I did do the experiments. @nightingale Would it be difficult to change the Mun and Minmus probe strategies fail state from "Must not have reached Mun or Minmus" to something that won't trigger if a piece of debris enters Mun's SOI? I had a spent Booster from a bad test launch fly out to a range where after a few orbits it had an encounter with Mun and got slingshot out into a Solar Orbit, which broke the Mun and Minmus probes strategy before I had the tech to actually take those strategies. -

I know there's been this behavior since 1.0, but I've never seen it generate lift this extreme. I had a simple, small rocket, one Mk 1 command pod, one fuel tank, the largest of the 1 meter size tanks, and the lv-45 gimbaling rocket engine generate so much lift off the body it started doing somersaults the minute I tried to start a gravity turn, just barely tapping the 'D' key. It was insane. It was like on some of the youtube vids where some part generates phantom forces and a craft will start flipping out and breaking physics. -

The body lift fix is nice for Mk2 and Mk3 planes, but with it installed some of my rockets are generating so much body lift the second I try and gravity turn, they flip over backwards, no matter how hard I try and turn against it. I suppose there's no way to disable this for the round rocket fuel tanks, and leave it for the airplane bits? -
I don't even have solar panels yet I've been using the Monopropellent Power Generator included in the MOLE Parts to power my space stations. UNORTHODOX SOLUTIONS!! {and fails! }

Finally got far enough along in one of my career games to deploy the smallest Nom-o-matic agriculture farm thingie. that sucker is way more power hungry than I thought. Going to have to build a massive power module for my Kerbin orbiting space station. O_O

Kottabos Noted this behavior as well in his youtube review, at the end of his video his little 'stumpy' rover was jittering around. He said he noticed this when using 4 of the smaller wheels, but another of his rovers, which was using 10 or 12 of the smaller wheels, was stable. I have seen this behavior myself in game with stock wheels. I, personally, think its a matter of the wheels having too much spring in the suspension, with not enough weight in the craft to hold them down, as it only seems to happen for me on lighter or smaller craft.

Is there no way to check the lifesupport amounts of vessels in flight from the space center anymore or am I missing it? So far I've only been able to see the amounts of various craft by going to one in flight, and I swear we used to be able to check that from the space center view? just curious.
