This was a clean install of KSP 1.1, just updated. I did install 3.2, and started the game, I got the notification that 3.2.1 was available, so shut off game, deleted the folder this contract pack, downloaded 3.2.1 added it and restarted. Got the notification that I was using 3.1.4, shut game off, re-downloaded again to be sure I hadn't clicked the wrong link by mistake, deleted the contract pack folder again and re-installed. got the error again. Will try once more just to be absolutely sure. EDIT: Okay, I stand corrected. I must have somehow missed something in my second delete of the contract pack folder. Cleaned it out again, and did not get the error. My mistake, sorry to bother you. Thought I had been thorough.

CKAN breaks my game, as I do a lot of custom moding of parts and I hate it fighting with me and restoring mods to 'default' state. no thanks.

Sad little fact, for some reason, the kerbal pilot in that helicopter, when I completed the mission to land on the carrier, was killed on recovery. Not sure why. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/23304-10vanguard-technologies-eva-parachutes-still-works/&page=1 EVA parachutes. I had to install through CKAN to make it work.

Got the land on a carrier mission. requirement was have wings. my helicopter has wings. pretty sure it's technically "cheating" but.... :

Instead of a bug report this time, How about a video showing all the fun I'm having rescuing kerbals from the ocean with my first successful helicopter. Loving the mod. keep up the good work. Edit: How about I post the right video eh?

I'm concerned about that new feature, say you get 2 or 3 bad contracts in a row, say with terms you don't think you can handle, right now, but you still want those types later, when you have more tech, but the game looks and say, oh he doesn't want that type of mission. you lose out.- 5,206 replies

All my game markers today have changed to Nyan cat. I'm amused. Is there a way to disable this? Posted in waypoint manager too, as I noticed the behavior from my custom waypoints before I noticed it was coming from all the game markers that seem to be added by contract config. All my custom waypoint markers today have changed to Nyan cat. funny. Is there a way to disable this, or am I stuck with it all day, april fools? -
hm.. okay, did not see that happen, I recruited a new kerbal, and gave him the name to match with persistence file magic. I'll take out another contract next time it comes up and see if I get Lt. Dan with out the persistence editing EDIT: Just got another rescue mission, Lt. Dan Kerman does spawn into the game for rescue missions. Working as intended. just didn't realize it, last time I played, Lt. Dan stayed around as a persistant kerbal. I sent him to the mun a couple of times, so wasn't expecting him to play disappearing act.

@inigma So, ran into a bug with this mod Both contract config and this mod up to date, The coastgard rescue certification no longer grants Lt. Dan Kerman as a usable kerbal, but further rescue missions require him. Edit: was able to work a little persistence file magic to get Lt. Dan Kerman into game, ran one successful coast rescue mission, but on mission complete and vessel recovery, Lt. Dan Kerman was removed from game, same as the 2 stranded kerbals he rescued. Seems similar to another kerbal removal bug encountered before? Wasn't there something like this with Contract Configurator? @nightingale ?

The only way I've found to make it work, is to use CKAN. which I hate. -
I figured out what was going on in my game, The GAP parts that I lost access to where part of a tech node I had just started researching, and since I use KCT, I no longer have access to them, while the time ticks for them to be researched, I haven't gotten any more GAP contracts, perhaps they just haven't shown, or perhaps with the parts locked by KCT, GAP just isn't generating contracts?

I use RoverDude's Lifesupport mod, never used TAC-LS. I personally haven't had any in game issues with KCT or RealChutes. the SXT error is probably because I only have the truck parts from that mod installed, and no other parts.

@inigma Just ran into a situation, exited KSP, and reloaded, and all the GAP given contract parts and contracts have vanished, and don't seem to return. Contract configurator says the pack is loaded fine. but nada. Providing logs: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/7xp0bf7rjtbvnfd/AADYk6JVhy7_9h9qYD3NLYeha?dl=0 Edit: The only change I made to the game was I removed the persistant rotation mod, I found that beyond a certain number of craft, my PC took far too great a performance hit. I don't see how removing that mod could have made a difference to GAP?

yeah, you have to let some time pass for the active contracts to fall out of the list, and make room for the 'new' contracts.

The bug that once allowed multiple copies of the same contract to be take/completable at once, has somehow snuck in again. I believe this was addressed previously? Posting here and in field research, as I'm not sure if this, or that mod is the source. Edit: both are at latest versions.- 469 replies
