  1. @Unwavering Sorry... I only accidentally found out this afternoon that 1.1.1 was released yesterday... I havent officially stated these work in 1.1 yet, as you NEED to have MOARdV's unofficial update of AviationLights v3.9 for 1.1... I'm waiting to see what happens "officially" for AviationLights from this point on... IF you are using v3.9, then if I had to make a guess, with as little info as I have right now, I'd say its probably something with one of the dependencies. I'll try to figure this out by the end of the weekend. Thanx for using these... I'm glad Deadweasel's work is still being appreciated with these...
  2. Hmmm... @JPLRepo any idea if the WindowShine mod would work with the (windows transparent) ON?...
  3. You have to unlock the antennas in career mode... You SHOULD have the RT equivalent of the DP-10 to start with tho... Do any show up in the tech tree?
  4. I also use NoScript, HTTPS Everywhere, Ghostery, and Blur (used to be DoNotTrack) I also use CCleaner and various AusLogics products for regular computer maintenance
  5. I use Avast... I like the "Pirate" voice alerts... I use Comodo Firewall... But I sure do miss ZoneAlarm before CheckPoint got their hands on it... ALL Comodo's products are this way, for anyone who wants to try others besides the AV.
  6. @lo-fi @sumghai Just a thought, would it be possible, and pros/cons of MERGING the other thread into THIS one?... I wouldnt think they would overlap time-wise too much... ??? That way it would have the continuity, and you wouldnt lose any relevant info/disscussion from that thread? and it might cause less confusion with TWO lengthy threads on the same mod out there...???
  7. Awesome Sauce!! At the very least, this would provide an excellent reason to launch/travel/commute to KEO... This could do a lot for SSTO's... So far, the only thing I do with KEO is maybe RT relays...
  8. @the_machemer I cant speak for kujuman, but he listed the variables in a few posts up... It seems the onus would be on Crzyrndm to add the function to Pilot Assistant... Can I assume you posted on Piot Assistant thread or contacted Crzyrndm about this?... If not, you should
  9. I dont think CKAN "needing" a new version number, solely justifies changing the version number of a mod itself...
  10. @linuxgurugamer I know you said soon, but is there a current DL link? Link in OP is still for KerbalStuff... ??
  11. Keep an eye on Rocket Factory ... Some of the best large capsules I've seen...its partially 1.1 compatible... Full release hopefully soon... Also, check out Prakasa Aeroworks
  12. EXACTLY!!... I think the same thing, and like to play it during launch of some monstrous rocket I've built... If you like Kyuss & QoTSA, have you checked out The Dessert Sessions ?? I was able to see a young Josh Homme play live with a band called Xtra Large, at a Hard Rock Cafe opening, in '90 or '91... How can you NOT try some Kyuss while KSP-ing, when they have an album called "Blues for the Red Sun", and spacey, Kerbalesque song titles like: Stage III, Molten Universe, 50 Million Year Trip (Downside Up), Capsized, Allen's Wrench, Mondo Generator, Asteroid, 100°, Space Cadet, Odyssey, Phototropic, Catamaran, Spaceship Landing, Shine!, Into the Void
  13. Shoot.... I guess I wont bother asking if changing navball texture could be added to this in the future...
  14. No, you DO need Contract Configurator... Hard to see, but this is in the OP: " Requires: Contract Configurator, Version 0.7.0 or higher, CoherentContracts, Module Manager"
  15. There's a mod that does this: Addon Controller
  16. Depends on my mood... Here's my lists: Mellow list: Early to mid Pink Floyd Isao Tomita's Holst The Planets Any Japanese traditional flute music, as well as any R. Carlos Nakai Kevin Braheny "Galaxies" Any Orbital Temple of The Dog Any William Ackerman Fudgetunnel Hate Songs in e minor Upbeat list: Any Babatunde Olatunji Certain Beastie Boys albums, especially The In Sound from Way Out! Any Led Zeppelin Michael Hedges Aerial Boundaries & Live on the Double Planet Hardcore list: Any early Metallica, especially The $5.98 Garage Days Revisited EP Any Kyuss and finally, I cant believe no one has mentioned Hawkwind
  17. Nice!... Definately digging the "dark" theme... I was even contemplating learning how to use Stylish to make my own dark theme...
  18. Granted, this isnt in-game, but I've found the Parts/Crafts tabs of KSP ModAdmin to be indispensable for parts pruning...
  19. Yes, you have a good, valid point, however, as Apollo13 stated, its basically an investment in their own future.... Plus, by doing this early on, I'm sure that it helps form that company's reputation 10-fold, over implementing it later on, after they become the Bethesda/MS Studios that we see now... Not to mention, Squad is already a huge step ahead of most small indy companies: Their first debut game is HUGE!.... Look how many big name gaming awards that KSP has been mentioned or nominated for already... If they play it right, they wont be the one-hit-wonder of the gaming world... And I think one step in that direction would be as Apollo13 suggests...
  20. Oooo... Nice! May I suggest/request Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40, FJ45, & FJ55, as well as Toyota 1980 Hilux dbl-cab pickup, for sometime in the future? EDIT: Oh, and since I see you live in the land of Oz, then maybe F/R/LJ70/75/79 as well?
  21. @Neil_Kerman Yes, ethernet IF using a switch/hub/router, like thunder165 said.... No, just the one instance of KSP on one computer... EDIT: Wait.... based on your description of your home network.... How are you connecting your laptop and Android devices over Wifi?... You have a Wifi router? If you have a separate device that serves the Wifi, and it has a LAN ethernet port, then you should do: Desktop --> ethernet cable ---> Wifi device/LAN port --> Laptop and Android devices over Wifi
  22. Hmmm... Dang... I've used Libre(Open)office Calc & Writer for years... Somehow completely forgot about Base... I've never tried it, or even read up on it... Thanx for the suggestion HebaruSan... I'll be back in a bit... EDIT: Yup... Looks like Base is pretty much exactly what I was looking for ... Even has very extensive, easy-to-understand documentation... Cant believe it didnt come up in any of my Google searches... Either my Google-fu is seriously slipping, or something is going on where LibreOffice is getting "muted" in Google searches... (most likely the former... )
  23. So, I'm in need of a very simple database program, and wanted to ask if anyone who had experience could help me choose one. I've Googled for several hours, and Holy Cow!.... Pretty mind boggling for someone who has NO experience with databases... I guess the issue is I need something SIMPLE and FREE... Which there seems to be a serious lack of... Here's what I need: FREE Simple database creating and editing (GUI preferred - no cmd line) No db managing, administration, development, or programming functions necessary No internet or server functionality (will only be using it on a couple home computers) Must be able to import/export CSV and or .XLS / .ODS Prefer something that worx in both *buntu & Windoze (but if one or the other, would need to be Win) Small learning curve (I have NO database or programming experience) Did I mention SIMPLE and GUI? Did I also mention FREE? I found three or four likely candidates, but either they were trial versions, or they didnt import/export, or they were cmd line Something along the lines of RazorSQL (is trialware), SQLite (no GUI, requires programming), or sqlite Expert (free vers. doesnt support common import/export) Any help would be highly appreciated
