  1. Hmmm, well, I have trouble placing the wings. I can't seem to get them just right. Any time I do use them, the shuttle doesn't want to pull up.
  2. I looked in the folder and didn't see a cfg patch. Unless you're talking about the .txt files. Yeah, I've had to Jerry rig something up due to the parts not allowing surface placement. Well, SOCK uses attachment node surface controls, maybe talk to @benjee10 for help. But I was mainly just wanting the wings, not the control surfaces themselves, but noded control surfaces would be nice as well.
  3. @Angel-125 Belated congrats on release. Three questions: Are you planning to do a hydrolox version of the engines? The real X-33/Venture Star's engine ran on that. Could you add a special decoupler and attachment node to the belly of the Mid-Fuselage so we can make a belly to belly X-33/X-33? There's some concepts about a space shuttle launched by another space shuttle attached to the belly. I think the X-33 would benefit from this. Could you add nodes to the wing and rear fuselage to make it easier to attach the wings?
  4. If you're having the parts falling off problem that I think you are having, don't use Autostruts at the same time as Rigid attachment. Tantares does not like them. Only uses autostruts, leave rigid attachment off.
  5. I think those are the two Star kick boosters and not IUS. At least, those look like Star motors to me. But to answer your question, use the "Inon-MPF 2.08m fairing base." Or if you're okay with clipping, use the "1.875 fairing base adapter SAF."
  6. 7m and 8m Delta uses RS-68s just like Delta IV. If I had to guess, they would pull off some trickery like the Russians did. Probably make 2 of the 4 outer RS-68s share a combustion chamber with one another. Reason I say this is because Ares V was to use 5 or even 6 RS-68s. Now, the nozzles can fit 5 on the Ares V, but it's a little tight. They might have made a compact version of the RS-68.
  7. Awesome. I don't think any other color is needed. Orange, White and Blue are good. The only thing I can think of maybe is Saturn stripes.
  8. Like I said, merely asking/suggestion. I didn't really expect you to say yes anyway. Fatlas was actually studied and had material behind it to back it up. ULA simply went, "Yeah, this CAN be a thing... no statistics though." As for tweakscale, Like I said. 1.10 support directly from Tweakscale is minimal at best. I'm waiting for it to mature. Also, I'm guessing you missed my question on the Delta Blue texturing.
  9. Didn't realize there was an update. Will download it. No rush. Was just asking if it was a possibility to be added. Lol. Come on, you got to flex your modding muscles, besides, all you would really have to do is take the existing models and upscale them to whatever 7m and 8m comes out to in KSP on the BDB scale. You might have to upscale the texturing as well and clean it up, but it's a simple job. I would use Tweakscale, but 1.10 support is baseline at the moment and I'm waiting for it to mature. Also, it was just a suggestion, I'm not really expecting them, just kindly asking if you have plans for them. BDB is about experimental and conceptual rockets after all. *Points to the LDC, Fatlas, and post-Saturn upgrades.* Why not give us post Delta upgrades as well? Speaking of texturing, do you plan on adding the original Delta Blue coloring as an option? I've seen Delta IV pictures of Delta IV in blue and kind of like that calming blue over the SCREAMING IN YOUR FACE bright orange.
  10. Redirect SLS with BDB DCSS and Delta IV boosters The SLS and boosters actually were burning fuel at the same rate. Had to cut the SSMEs down to 50% thrust. Also @Zorg Is the nose cone separation motors supposed to induce a roll on the boosters? Mine always seem to roll for some reason. Also also, is it possible for you to make a part that just has a bunch of random thrust transforms to create a pseudo Delta IV fireball effect? Also also also, any plans to make the 7m or 8m CBCs as seen in the Delta IV User's guide?
  11. Go into /Kerbal Space Program/Saves/(name of save file)/ships/(vab or sph) They are saved in there too And if they still reappear, that's steam restoring your backup. In that case delete the ships in game.
  12. I present, the Delta IV Small. It strangely has less than 1.0 TWR, so had to let the engine run a little bit before releasing the clamps. And, a Delta IV shuttle, because I wanted to make it. It had to tilt a lot due to the thrust difference. I got to orbital height right before the Deltas ran out of fuel, so... I ditched the EFT as well. Made it into orbit, but not a circular one. Had to stop the circulization because I'm almost out of OME fuel... And Orion test mission just cause. You can JUST Make out the boosters.
