  1. Atlas V was updated this update, but only visually really. The parts are more or less the same, with a few changes to the interstages. Also note, we're talking about the Wiki needing an Atlas V wiki update, not the actual models in game needing another update lol.
  2. Only Atlas A thru Atlas III, I will point out. Atlas V still needs an update, visually. The parts didn't really change. Though, I can see the old pics confusing some people.
  3. Saturn C-8 was also considered for Direct Ascent, which would cut down transit time to the Moon/Mun. In KSP, I can see a use case for that. Time sensitive contracts, or people waiting last second to launch. Also, C-8 would be a good rocket for Mars/Duna ascent, direct (Possibly) or Earth orbit to MTI. Especially if you use some MLV concepts with C-8. While I'll agree that the "Nova" design is kind of ugly (For those that don't know, the "Nova" design uses a rather short Stage one with a rather long stage two.), the Saturn C-8 uses a longer Stage one, which is what I based my C-8 and C-8B (Seen above) on.
  4. (Cobalt has said he likes my C-8 better than the regular C-8... perhaps we could convince him to make the GoldForest C-8 )
  5. ORANGES hasn't been updated on CKAN. You'll need to get the update from Github. GitHub - EStreetRockets/ORANGES: SDLV mod Go to the link. Press the green "Code" button Click "Download ZIP."
  6. Right click the part after placing it. There's a B9 part switch menu that allows you to change the colors.
  7. If you build it historically, the fuel tanks are already setup for the right fuels. If you want to use non-historical engines, just right click the engine in the part menu and it will tell you what fuel that engine runs off. Then you just switch the fuel tank to that fuel.
  8. To add on to what Zorg said, it's also to make the fuel tanks compatible with other engines. You could put J-2s on the first stage of the Saturn I, or put a Merlin engine on the upper stage of the Saturn I.
  9. I was going to ask where the 1.875m adapter was, then I remembered there already is one, derp. Though, a generic one without the fairings would be nice. Not requesting it mind you. You've already done great!
  10. I think they mean the rocket, not the space capsule. Soyuz the rocket is in the process of being updated by @CardZLol
  11. What else do you have in the pipeline besides Lunar Gateway? I mean, you have already done a lot with this update! We got 3m and 5m parts, generic 2m parts, expanded ISS parts based off Freedom's Concepts. The only thing really missing are 1.875m generic parts, which is arguably handled by your other mods. Hmmm. ETS Freedom would be nice. Other than that, what else could there be?
  12. The docking ports don't have a set orientation, no. The only limiting factor are the petals. As long as they don't hit, you can dock in any four of the allowed positions. Do you have any docking port mods?
  13. To be honest, decided to take a break from SISS, then when I decided to get back into it, the forums was in the ICU, so that did a blow to my drive to resume this, so I put this on the back burner again. As of right now, I have nothing really planned except the international stage. The Russian stage is still a mystery to me. I thought about using Tantares new MAK parts, but MAK is soviet, and we're way past that era. Like I said, SISS 4 is 2040s, possibly 2050s. I doubt Russia would be using tech that's from the 1970s/80s by then. (*He says while they're using 80s tech in the 2020s*) Edit: Sorry if you got four pings from me. Forum glitched out. Thought it wasn't posting my reply. Edit 2: Might forgo the "Russian" segment.
  14. Propulsive or nothing. We die like Kerbals. Brothers, sisters, ill see you on the kraken side!
  15. @Beale Like mentioned, your aero issues might be due to missing textures. I know you like to leave endcaps unextured while the parts are wip, so if that's the case just throw on a placeholder texture and it should fox your issues.
  16. Those are kind of outside the scope of BDB. BDB tends to stick to the stuff that came out between the 60s to 80s, with a few exceptions like Delta IV and Atlas V, just so they could round out the family. Nothing after 2000s will really make it into the mod, unless one of the team members really wants to work on it. Like Invader with Kepler. There's no real guaranteed way to keep your patch working between updates. Names sometimes change between updates which will break your patch, or parts get consolidated from five parts down to one with part switching which will also break your patch. Best to just wait until the update is done and then work on your patch. But the Titan mini-update is pretty much done with I think. Rodger got all the parts I think.
  17. @Rodger Did you ever figure out/fix the hydrogen fuel cell bug? I have the patch that forces hydrogen fuel cell on Apollo that you put out, but I was just wondering if you ever fixed the part switching patch.
  18. We'll need a little more info. What parts are not coming up under Atlas? Have you updated to 1.14? Are you using VABO?
