  1. How much propellant I need to get to orbit? All of it? Okay, good luck e'rybody else!
  2. "Mission control to Jeb." "Jeb here." "You've been idle for some time, everything okay?" "Yeah. Everything's fine. Just... staring." "At what?" "At the future, Gene. At the future." (For those that can't see it or can't tell what Jeb is looking at)
  3. @Zorg Will this get integrated into BDB or will it remain its own separate mod? Or are you still talking about/considering what to do?
  4. It's an alpha release or beta release. 1.0 would be actual release. At least, imo anyway. And it's super early. 0.1 was released 3 weeks ago, well before Shabby 0.4.0, which only released yesterday. At minimum I would probably wait for an update to Resurfaced, just to make sure it's compatible with the latest update of Shabby, but that's just me. I'm not against using dev releases, I'm using BDB and Tantares dev versions as we speak. But parts mods and plugin mods are two separate monsters. I'm more weary about using initial versions/early releases of WIP/Development plugins because they tend to game break with each update. That's just me though. Like I said, "I" would probably wait. I should have probably used the word "will" instead of "would." That's my bad, apologizes. Never meant to say you should wait. If you want to use a dev plugin, that's your right to do so.
  5. Is that what it's called? *Check Beale's github* Oh, yep. That's the one. I would probably wait until it's released though.
  6. Orel launched to LSISS by Angara A7. With Orel added, the station and the SISS 3, aka LSISS project, is complete! Full album: Imgur: The magic of the Internet
  7. Unfortunately, Shabby is only one part of a two-part system needed for PBR. Beale needs to release his PBR mod.
  8. Orion flies to LSISS atop SLS. One more launch after this, Orel, and the station, and this project, will be officially complete and done. Full album (Big, again): Imgur: The magic of the Internet
  9. Dragon-XL launches aboard a Falcon Heavy to the LSISS around the Mun. Full album (It's big!): Imgur: The magic of the Internet
  10. The TVC tank is probably just between the two motors, which we can't see on either pair. As for the separation motors, they are there. The image is just so low resolution you can see them without zooming in ridiculously. At least, I think I see them. There's some black pixels on the nose cone that looks like the separation motor holes. They are facing the viewer, so hard to see them. Hmmm. Cobalt, don't suppose we could get a dual UA120X mount for Saturn purposes?
  11. I just noticed something. The 1205s, or rather 1204s , are welded together like the Energia's boosters.
  12. Considering Adrian is using the long interstage, I'm going to guess they've got Timberwinds inside there instead of J-2s. Or NERVAs.
  13. You know, there are US Mars projects you could do. You have some catching up to do if you decide to do them though.
  14. So, I've been kind of quiet here. Firstly, I got busy with my Lunar Supersized ISS. Then my laptop went and died on me. I've got a new one. Specs below for any interested. Anyway, played around in KSP to test it out. Got some more performance thanks to the monster CPU. Here's a Mercury Redstone launch. Full album: Imgur: The magic of the Internet
  15. Laptop came in. I added the 2nd drive. Had a few hiccups, like the laptop not starting for some reason, unless the power cord was plugged in. I'm guessing it has something to do with the ambient light sensor that turns off the battery/disconnects it electrically. Anyway, got it booted into Windows after installing the 2nd ssd. Such a headache.
  16. I run the visual mods maxed already, lol. Not sure how to improve them. And I've had nothing but good stuff from ASUS (knock on wood). You probably just lost the silicon lottery. It happens. ASUS is the top brand imo. Though, I might just be bias lol.
  17. Another update. The laptop is due to arrive today! So, expect this to continue in a week... maybe two. Assuming all is well with the laptop, which fingers crossed, hopefully it is. And for those wondering, this is what I got: [2023] ASUS ROG Strix G17 G713PI 17.3" WQHD 240Hz, 2.5 GHz Ryzen 9 7945HX, RTX 4070, 64 GB DDR5 RAM, 1 TB PCIe SSD, Windows 11 Home - Newegg.com Manufacture: ASUS System Integrator: HIDevolution US CPU: Ryzen 9 7945HX (Going to be honest, I'm an Intel fanboy, but with the 13th/14th generation degradation issues... I wanted to avoid that. I already have a 13th gen desktop, and yes, I have updated the BIOS, so hopefully it will last until my next upgrade. But yeah. I've head AMD before, in like Wally World bought computers, but nothing gaming level. This will be my first AMD gaming machine) GPU: Nvidia 4070 (Thought about going 4080, but it was just too much money imo. Besides, my old laptop was a 2070. The 4070 is basically a 2090 in terms of performance, so leaps ahead of the 2070 I was rocking.) Screen: 17.3 inch IPS 240hz 2560x1440 (Yep, Quad HD) Memory: 64 GB DDR5 4800 Ghz (MODS! MOAR MODS! Wish it were faster though, might upgrade it to faster down the line) Storage: 1TB NVME M.2 SSD (Might stick my old laptop's M.2 in it as well for a total of 2 TB) OS: WIndows 11 Home (Ugh, wish it were Windows 10, but what you going to do, right?)
  18. The mod is still in silent development. Zorg said info will be released soonTM. I mean, imagine aerobraking something almost the length of a Saturn V and almost twice as thick.
  19. RO/RSS patches are handled by the RO/RSS team. They are probably waiting for Tantares to officially update to the next version before making patches as Tantares is in state of active development at the moment. I would still ask your question in the RO/RSS threads, though, just to ask them what they are doing and if they have anything in the works or if they're waiting like I guessed.
  20. Alright, another update. This one better. Got a loan and ordered a new laptop. Should be here Friday, barring any hiccups.
  21. The guys were able to clone the data to an external drive, so I have the save file. I'll be able to continue it on my desktop, just it will be a while between posts.
  22. So, repair shop couldn't fix my laptop since they would have had to replace the motherboard, which essentially the same price as a new laptop. So, I just going to have to get a new laptop. Idk when that will be. The ones I'm looking at are like 3600 to 4000.
