Anyone else having an issue with SAS sending the ship spinning when coming out of time warp? This started happening to me in Mun orbit and lasted all the way down to the surface.

Let's see here: No tutorial on fine controls for VAB construction. The power of Shift should be explained to newbs. (Otherwise the tutorials were very well done.) Parts manager doesn't show fuel left in tank. Recovered Kerbalnauts vanish from game. No highlight on parts selected in stack while in-flight. Fuel flow issues on 2 deep 3-way onion stack. One deep worked fine. 2-deep had one tank drain unevenly. I can see where the effort was put into onboarding, and I think the devs did a good job. The soundtrack of the game is amazing!

I am experiencing hype rapid dissasemb

I definitely want a space exploration game with some colony stuff to give the late game structure. I do not want a colony management sim. I have enough of those already. I want the bones BARE on the management side of thing. Set it and forget it, minimal processing to get end products.

Hot take: procedural wings won't make building easier
ArmchairGravy replied to The Aziz's topic in Prelaunch KSP2 Discussion
I've always struggled with making planes, and I am hoping with the integrated control surfaces I can do better. I can make stuff that looks like it should work, has the lift/weight balanced, and still won't get an inch off the runway before veering/flipping. My current SSTO is a Rockomax 32 with a Skipper. -
I'm excited for all of it. Even the bugs.
-
If it hasn't been said yet, allow me: If you don't meet minimum requirements your bug report will not matter.

First impression from Scott Manley's gameplay video.
ArmchairGravy replied to Tweeker's topic in Prelaunch KSP2 Discussion
What concerned me most about Scott's video is apo/periapsis nodes did not toggle where you could see what they were without mousing over them. That's basic UI they don't have working 2 weeks before launch. Over three years of work and they don't have basic functionality in place two weeks before going EA. I now consider my expectations suitably lowered. -
Kerbal Space Program 2 - Pre-Release Notes
ArmchairGravy replied to Intercept Games's topic in KSP2 Dev Updates
I'm excited for the game. I'm very excited to re-launch the insane stuff I made pre-aero back in the day. I've always had a love/hate relationship with the more realistic aero. Aerobraking Jool and Eve was a lot easier before all that pesky heat got involved. -
Right. I'm used to refreshing my rig every 3-5 years, and I am seeing where my current rig is due for its replacement due to age. I'm not going to get a new rig because of KSP. I am going to get a new rig because of KSP and all the new games coming out in the next 3-5years.

I am going to have an issue if they don't have the apsis' markers toggle. I am going to say the fact this essential feature of the UI didn't work in either of the two videos I watched made two weeks before launch makes me wonder if they spent all of their time on the cute tutorials and forgot to make the game.

With less than one week to go I am commencing wild hype gyrations.

I went to Dell's website and looked at the current line of PC's equipped with a 1080. They are in the $2500 range. They're over spec on RAM and CPU, but I'll want to run All the Mods anyway, so I'll splurge a bit. I was able to run 2077 with my GPU sounding like a jet, so I'm not feeling great about the long-term prospects of my current rig. The "mere" was sarcastic.
-
For a mere $2500 Dell can hook you up with a box that meets recommended specs.
-
As long as I get apo/periapsis info in flight view I'm good to go. I do like how the new UI unclutters the center of the screen.

Two weeks! Is it time to begin vibrating from hype? I think it's time to begin vibrating from hype. *begins vibrating*

I found locking onto prograde tips me over way too soon. That method seems to be all about getting the throttle through max-Q just right. It's easier for me to just fly the rocket. Some I kick up high before turning, some I blaze right on through. It just depends on what is going to space today.

Looks like someone got stingy with struts.

I'm expecting Misery-style kidnappings and firebombs given the reasoned debates I've seen so far. God help the mods.

I may have been getting Dres confused with a new planet.

Worse than Steam. YouTube.

Oh crap. There's nothing new in the Kerbin system?! I've been grievously misinformed. Apologies, Vl3d!

This is the KSP 1 dv map. You may as well have Rick-rolled me.
