  1. Honestly I think you're more likely to get a response from a PM - Much easier to manage an inbox than reading every single post that's made in a thread EDIT: Edited this message a lot sorry
  2. I doubt the devs would reply here - you may want to PM them if you want a more direct response?
  3. Aye as a modder copywrites can really be a pain to work with. Though sometimes I wish the creative directors would go back to the roots of KSP and look for good mods to include. I'm sure you all know that SpacePlane+ used to be a mod before it turned into the new wing and Mk2 assets, but did you know that around half of all the assets came from a mod called KSPX? A lot of the foundation part of KSP were originally fanwork that the devs reached out and included. I'd love to see more of that happen. Good PR all around, and less work for the devs.
  4. I have no clue how it is that I haven't liked this page yet Your craft is always a bit of inspiration for my own MajorJim
  5. Image of Titan in front of Saturn for some concept on atmospheres in front of other atmospheres: Saw this picture and was instantly reminded of Scatterer
  6. Aye that's what I mean sorry - the old physics model was dropped with U5, but I was wondering if someone has emulated the old physics? Or at-least done something to the stock wheels in U5 to make them less of a headache?
  7. I've had my eye on this for a while now Shadowmage - Though I haven't used it because I generally play with only stock parts. Has someone made a pack for pre-1.1-esque stock wheel physics? I'd love to play around with the old physics again.
  8. lol sounds good. I think it would be better to keep them separate though on second thoughts. If I do end up making some custom changes then I'll do what you said and make a custom MM config for SVT that would be in the download. I edited that message a lot in post again
  9. Ahh ok I think I see what you mean - though I think you misinterpreted what I meant with 'changes'. I haven't actually made any personal modifications to SVT (Other than the things I showed you in PM), rather I've been making custom configs for KSPRC textures. My plan was to include an unedited version of SVT in the DL for the sake of simplicity, though on second thought its probably a better plan to just keep it separate. Less work on my end, smaller download, we would both get more downloads, and I wouldn't have to update Spectra every time SVT updates
  10. SVT already has it's own MM cfgs.... How would it reduce the DL size? I'd have to include all of SVT's terrain textures in the DL for it to work.
  11. Sort of. In the future I'll be including SVT inside the official download since I have Galileo's permission to do so. If you remove the 'Spectra' and 'KSPRC' folders then you should be able to install SVT. I didn't include it in this DL because I'm testing KSPRC though - I'm customizing the heck out of KSPRC (and also stealing bits if code and textures from SVT) but leaving SVT the way that Galileo's made it. Hope that answers?
  12. Major update! v0.3 I've gotten to a point with KSPRC configs that I'm ready to send them out for feedback. Please if you have any suggestions for them tell me what you'd want different either here or through PM and I'll answer. Added WindowShine, SPC, and KSPRC textures with custom configs.
  13. Work continues on Spectra. I'm hoping to get another test preview out sometime soontm with instructions to install @Proot's KSPRC textures with some custom configs. :)

  14. Hm, a general complaint (Or bug?) I have... It seems as though the stock atmospheric effects haven't been disabled though I have Scatterer installed: Running Kopernicus, EVE, and your Scatterer WIP release. I don't know if this is intended or if it's a bug? I also don't know if this is a concern at the moment You're pretty busy with oceans at the moment and I'd hate to deter from that.
  15. As much as I would love ultra HD cloud textures, I think that SVE is already using the most HD textures that can be found online... They're 8192x4096 and after all the research I've done I haven't been able to find a 'single' texture that is over that. Unity has even had problems with textures over 10k in the past.
  16. Ach aye there are - I installed the test pack and then overwrote the configs with my current ones - that'd explain why it looks bad for me Going back and manually changing things now . Removing that comment from my post too
  17. It looks amazing @blackrack Just one note, there seems to be a black 'highlight' that covers anti-aliasing on parts that are in front of the water shader (or below the surface). Is this similar to the highlight that we see on the scatter shader? It appears with all forms of anti-aliasing. As it stands it would prevent me from filming any scenes involving water :L All in all though the new effects are fantastic... EDIT: It seems as though there is a slider to change underwater color but it doesn't seem to change anything in game. Is this known info?
  18. I think it's Distant Object enhancement - I should put WindowShine in... surprised I forgot to yet. :>
  19. Going live in a few minutes on twitch. I don't know how long I'll be live but I'm going to test out that new Scatterer preview that @blackrack posted inside Spectra - Also showing off the KSPRC textures by @Proot, which I'll be including instructions on installing them alongside Spectra with some custom configs and settings.
  20. Ah forgot to delete that .txt file It was a not to myself that I put in before I restarted and I just forgot to delete it. Everything is behaving the correct way in that file - just not finished and not refined.
