  1. Aahhh okay. Lightning is present on All planets with a stock atmosphere so Kerbin, Laythe, Jool, Duna, and EVE. You can see a few glimpses of lightning on Jool in the Stock-ACP-v7 comparisons album. See this pic. Lightning is still a half-mystery to me to code, but it's basically a cloud texture that spins quickly around the planet, and it has a detail texture that spins in a different direction as well. Where both the detail texture and the cloud texture line up, there is lightning. Hm... I should definitely make a second promo vid...
  2. There should be lightning already included. It's quite present on Jool in my game. Is it not working for you?
  3. Duely noted. I'll fix that in the next release. - Depending on how KSPRC looks at that point...
  4. Hello again Felger! I am creating my own custom configs which increase the plume speeds by 3x. I'm running into an issue with particles per second though, as it creates a sort of "line of dots" when emitting particles per second. I'm curious, what is the average particles per second for your stock plume effects? I'm guessing I would need to add the line "density = [3x realplume stock standard]". I just don't know what the realplume stock standard is.
  5. One good idea to note is that Eve looks amazing with green-tinted atmospheres. From Proots old KSPRC album
  6. ACP-v8 released I have reviewed all textures and replaced all the ones that had copyright issues (All the Astronomer's Visual Pack textures). Again many thanks for the keen eyes everyone. Copyright issues are one thing I will not tolerate. - If any of you know a better way to get hold of Astronomer I'd love to know it.
  7. Sort of... my duna texture was created by highly editing Astronomer's cloud texture, but other than that yeah you could follow a recipe. Hold your horses though I'm planning on later today creating a copyright-correct version. I have Proots permission to use the textures from the current release of KSPRC (No releases after this one though. From what he's posting you might want to just use his pack though ) and I also have permission from the creators of Better Atmosphere's to use their cloud texture (It's already included as the "cirrus" clouds. I have other textures I can use.
  8. I'm not sure how useful it would be, but WindowShine already has textures for stock windowed-parts that excludes everything except the windows. Feel free to use any of the textures included in WindowShine if they are of use. The entire texture is still there but transparency is at 1% for everything except the windows. The module manager file in the DL should have a list of all the parts changed in the mod. If I understand the thinking behind this, would you be using transparency to designate camera strength/visibility? This could be a neat feature as you could make some glass more tinted than others. Similar to how I fade the reflectiveness of windows as they near the rims.
  9. Sadly that is correct. I'm unsure how easy that would code but it sounds doable. You could take that idea up with Shaw if you want, as he's the master behind the code.
  10. Congrats man!! I fully back this project, and I'm curious as to if you need any input on anything? I'm not sure what will be come of my cloud pack with the up coming release of KSPRC and WIP EVE. I'm thinking about disbanding it in the future for a better (wink wink) alternative such as this. If you ever need tileable texture or more clouds, feel free to use the files in ACP freely with exception of the main kerbin cloud texture, which is sadly not under my authority to hand out. Best of luck with this man.
  11. So... does this mean that noname brought it from 50 to 51, and Sanic brought it up from 51 to 52? If so, I set it to 53.
  12. Eh? Kerbcam doesn't record, it only manipulates the camera. Pressing Alt-F8 should bring the GUI up. For screen recording I suggest you look up Open Broadcasting Software.
  13. Proot, I wanted to give you a heads up that I sent you and Astronomer an important PM about licensing... I infringed on it in releasing this cloud pack, and I'm sorry for that.
  14. - Hm... thanks for the heads up guys. I'll sadly have to remove the download link for the time being in that case. Copyright infringement is one thing I want nothing to do with. In the mean time you can use the effects from KSPRC or AVP (If you know how to install it all). Astronomer is going to be difficult to track down though.
  15. Fixed. ty Hm... I only took a quick pass over navutilities on first glance. I'll add it in that case.
  16. You could look at a few of these if you want. I started a repository only a few days ago. You might find some nice oddities in there. Especially the sounds mods.
