Exactly. Ven's revamp is a remake of stock parts and it has it's own reflective meshes, so for compatibility I made a new config for Ven's revamp that excludes the parts he changed.

You can just install them both keeping both configs. You could merge them if you want to make it look cleaner but it isn't necessary. - It also could depend on the mods. Which packs are you installing?

I've always loved the deep and varied coloration of the surface of it and I was curious if you still had the original texture around . I doubted it would be in standard KSP planet format if you had it regardless though. Still one can dream... Another thing I noted in this picture was the addition of rivets in the RTG's. I might end up adding those to my own RTG textures. Looks nice! - If you ever end up doing other renders and want interesting variations on stock textures you might wanna check this out.

Odd... It works on my phone xD Re-upload to Imgur:

WIP - Environmental Visual Enhancements Development
HafCoJoe replied to rbray89's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
Hm... have you tried increasing the values above 255? I think Rbray set it up so you can go higher than 255. -
Hello! Snjo I've been looking into your FSTextureSwitch module and have finally been able to get it worked into my own stock mod. I don't know how much interest you would have in this mod, but I thought it would be a good idea to mention to you that I am now updating my mod with FireSpitter.dll dependency. Thanks for the amazing work on this. SPPCC v0.11 - Spaceplane Color Corrections
-
MAJOR UPDATE!!! I finally have been able to implement a function from the FireSpitter.dll to choose between part textures, and because of this I can continue my work. I hope you all enjoy the new options!
-
Hello everyone! Sorry to bother you, but I've had an outdated poll on this thread for about 4 months now I think... Could an admin remove it? SPPCC v0.11 - Spaceplane Color Corrections I'm sorry I don't have another picture of my cat pic you guys this time, so have a picture of a gigantic frog instead.

[1.1.2][1-1-2] May 13-2016 EnvironmentalVisualEnhancements
HafCoJoe replied to rbray89's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Sorry to say but I don't think anyone knows the exact answer xD. Do you have any more details you could give? OS? OpenGL? 64 bit? Other mods? -
Those clouds are beautiful! I like that it has 'minimal' clouds in comparison to the other packs out now. I hate it when the surface is completely covered. The tint shader is looking quite nice too . EDIT: I read your comment in EVE. I took a day and collected a mass of good-tiling textures for terrain when I was experimenting. I'm not sure if you plan on ever doing anything with terrain but if you would like them I can send them to you via PM.

[Released] Free IVA Alpha v0.2.1 [1.12.x] (2022-11-24)
HafCoJoe replied to pizzaoverhead's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
OH BOY!!! This is wonderful! I hope it isn't too repetitive. Thank you! I sadly have no clue how to model either. I could help you out with textures possibly but that's as far as I have knowledge. Coding is magic to me... "Technology that is far enough advanced is indistinguishable from magic". Still have no clue how you guys do it . Best of luck! -
[1.1] Improved Chase Camera v1.6 (Apr 23)
HafCoJoe replied to BahamutoD's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Hello! I've been noticing that the stock chase camera doesn't follow your craft perfectly if you make sudden changes in speed and direction (VTOLs). My guess is that your improved chase camera fixes this? Also great to hear that it works with TrackIR too! That's a very fun feature. -

The Elcano Challenge : Ground-based circumnavigation
HafCoJoe replied to Fengist's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
One brief question which I still have after reading the first page... what's the technical difference between a kerbin land circumnavigation and a boat circumnavigation? Is it a land circumnavigation when you stay on land as much as possible and a boat circumnavigation when staying on water as much as possible? -
a very rare event this week-end: super-moon eclipse
HafCoJoe replied to goldenpeach's topic in Science & Spaceflight
I'm very glad I was able to stay up and see it too! It took some time coming over the tree-line but we caught it in full glow. I'll post pictures when I'm able, we used my Girlfriends camera (15k images!) and I might even have a new desktop after the week! -
Is it? Huh. The website is designed to look almost exactly like a mac OS, It's odd that it doesn't work for a mac than. Sorry to hear
-
.dds images are flipped vertically when added to the game. If you flip the .png upside down it should fix this. Also note that in my pack I took the shadow layer and offset it by one pixel to the side to make the layers look more separate from orbit. You could try fiddling with that yourself if you want.
-
Doh! I can't give you rep back because I did so too recently... *sob* Thanks man! Best of luck with your own render.

Gigapolosatik made an amazing picture for the box art fantasy contest, and I couldn't stop thinking it would make a great desktop icon too... Icon used in video: BLAAAA.ico (Dropbox)
