  1. Oh, dear. These usernames are confusing. I though that stanz25 was stanz250…
  2. Hey, whoah, I love TweakScale! I've got nothing against mods, and definitely nothing against part clipping! The only comparable craft I've got is this one. (0.90.0) Now I have to do better! Thanks for the inspiration!
  3. Damn. This is impressive. Even with TweakScale.
  4. Once I affirm that the Dawn Racer functions in the latest update, I will resume this challenge.
  5. That was posted around 0.20, just so you know. Not that it isn't relevant in 1.0!
  6. After all, this is about your own reward, correct? I feel like it's a ground vehicle namely because bouncing around at the speed I'm at sure doesn't feel like "flying." Every time it hits the surface it pulls over 10 g's, even though I barely tap at around 5 m/s vertical. Every time a hill comes, it also spikes the g-meter. Not to mention what happens if you let it hit with a bit of roll... let's just say that I've yet to save anything but the capsule. All in all, not the slightest bit of the slow serenity of powered flight. And all the better for it!
  7. As I attempt to minimize airtime, yes. On a side note: There was this one canyon in an old Nassault video that I want to find and jump so bad...
  8. Oh dear. That's a big thing. Try more 'chutes, or perhaps, a very, very large craft for powered landing
  9. Yes. In fact, if you hold down Alt, or your keyboard's default modifier key, you can disable surface attachment.
  10. Indeed, there isn't much boating in a space game... though...
  11. Oh, hey, is it working again?!

    Hi ALL

No, it's backwards Spanish. Hey, Mikki! Welcome aboard!
  13. Dingdingding, you win a cookie! Um, how about ghostbuzzer?
  14. When in the VAB and Spaceplane Hangar, there is a tab in the upper toolbar, between the "crew" and "parts" tabs (look for the blue button that has a Kerbal on it), used for what are called "action groups". Some parts are automatically sorted into these groups, such as lights, or wheel brakes. There are also custom ones configurable to the keys 0-9, where when you press the corresponding key, will activate the option(s) you selected of the part(s) you have placed in the group. Edit: these actions activate in-flight, not in the editor! While in the action groups menu, you cannot place, move, or delete parts. Clicking on a part will bring up its options, if it has any. These include decoupling, undocking, toggling several features, or deploying/undeploying. With the desired group selected on the left by clicking on it, subsequently clicking on an available action will bind it to the group. Clicking on an action in the group will unbind it.
  15. That should be possible, based on my own text-match algorithms.
  16. I want in, too! *Construction in Progress*
  17. Oh, cool! I've seen the "Exploration Begins at Home" one before, didn't know it was made by a community member!

    Hello!

Well, you already are a part of it! Welcome, Volix!
  19. Yes: do not move to quickly, have SAS on (hit "T"), and try placing fixed or dynamic fins near the base of your craft. Welcome aboard!
  20. Personally, I would check. Though that's my opinion. After all, there is no harm in asking!
