  1. I think this kind of destroys the point of giving suggestions to the devs, or even the devs developing the game apart from engine updates... Why don't we just mod everything in ! On the actual part... You are right in that the intake is mostly well... an intake, but unless we get a dedicated compressor piece I think a slight weight balance is the best we can do... that or increase fuel tank weight..

Until there's a complete redo of the aerodynamics model, I think the added "-fuel weight" (aprox 3 words in code needed to be added(or removed if its to be cleaner)) and some weight balance is quite worth it. If people want something really realistic, we could make the air compressor a completely separate part. and give it a bunch of the weight. Then with the jet split in 3 parts, we could have wackier designs....

  5. EEK, unity + online DO NOT MIX. Well, least ways not if you want to have ANY physics based objects from the client side (like a player). I'd recommend starting off with doing a split screen type if multiplayer, make a joystick work as player 2.... Its much simpler, mostly fiddling with input and camera outputs to the screen. Either way there are plenty of tutorials, although no multiplayer thing is easy to follow, local co-op/versus is a much less time comsuming option.

  10. granted, the points on the tree branches are so pointy that you impale yourself (im not implying that ur dead, but you know, bad thing) I wish that people didn't get biased on topics where emotions typically run high..... (real wish, i get really agitated when trustworthy sources do it)

    Well gj, on guessing the impossible riddle. Now I have one question to ask. how do you compose a riddle? So that it obeys the rules and rules others aswell ?

    mourning, war heroes separation. never been good at riddles and haven't looked beyond the last page for what's already guessed, but i'd say its something to do with gallantry etc.

THUNDERKERBS ARE GO ! sorry couldn't help myself, i made a recreation of thunderbird 3 once, and it made orbit, without contracting from asthetics..... but it was a one way trip as I recall. edit: on regard to the official topic of this thread, I think we should be able to some things like making a tail with an elevator at the top, some more little design tricks that you might see on a plane... etc.

  18. Just a few questions concerning 0.25 : 1. Will we retain a mid-fuselage cocpit (a thing similar to the old mk2) 2. Will we have any more parts with extra functions (cargo bays and others) 3. How different will the new GUI be ? is it for this update or the next ? will it use the new unity 4.6 GUI systems ? 4. Will Kerbal experience change their courage/stupidity rates or the B.A. flag or is it a pure career mode thing ? 5. Along with the porkjet labs parts will we be getting other previously worked on systems, such as chad's airbrakes, helicopter routers large gear bays. that he made before leaving Squad ? Post ur own questions...

  20. Well after checking the already suggested list, I didn't notice this being one of them, so here goes. A launch catapult part similar to the launch clamp, except after you place the tower, you then click somewhere on the craft to attach the catapults cable to. Abusable, maybe, but for testing gliders or giving those craft that work except for take-off a chance would be nice for a change. And in contrast, for landing, adding the the runway, one of those bungee cords that catch aircraft when they land on a carrier. To go with it, add a hook part in the editor for it to grab a hold of (and hopefully not smash your craft). Would be even better if you could also customly place that cord on a ship for making extra-planetary runways with.

What's the progress on that bullet phys engine implementation into unity going, have you released it to the asset store, or getting close to that point ?   22. really hope some of the server-client lag gets solved, its a unity things and probably has to do with rigidbodies, lots and lots of them.... just looking forward for lan support to alleviate most of that lag (on the computer the server is running on, that comps client has no lag, but a computer beside it has a lot of lag, going all the way into the internet and back again) appreciate all of this great dedication.
