  1. oo! those look pretty cool. I will check those out this evening.
  2. Bummer-- this would be for attaching a line of them so they snap together, right?
  3. I think that's the "Level" mode -- it'll just keep the ship upright, no matter what other inputs you give it.
  4. aha! I knew that looked/sounded more familiar than a distant mod. Thank you @Enceos
  5. Give this a try! https://spacedock.info/mod/933/Off Stage
  6. @BureauJaeger Taking advantage of the reemergence of Adjustable Landing Gear?
  7. Hooray! Hooray! I love how these visual mods are all coming together again. Are the ring shadows *from* the rings (onto the planet), as well as *on* the rings (from the planet itself) a thing, yet?
  8. Post that in the CKAN thread, they may be able to fix it, too.
  9. Is the ATV on KerbalX? it's not showing up in the listings. Would love the check it out.
  10. @Shadowmage -- I totally agree with your plan. It's in-line with how planes like the F-16 (though there's a physical armature there, as well) and f-104 do it; both planes that have distinctly angled gear. F-18 sorta does, but it uses a cool knee joint instead to keep the wheel straight and level. I'm really glad you're finding this an engaging challenge. Really inspiring.
  11. Those (I think both issues) are common to Firespitter (from whence nearly all props in mods come from). It would be great to have a far more gradual spool-up time similar to jet engines. Maybe that's just up to a proper config?
  12. The auto alignment was borrowed from firespitter, I believe. The effect was that you could slap the gear on (almost) any-which-way, hit F2, and it would rotate the wheel joint to face exactly down and forward. It also showed lines in the VAB indicating how far from 0 degrees they were in each direction.
  13. Guessing the blue sections are rendered procedural parts? @BureauJaeger can confirm?
  14. This is my entire experience reading this thread. And why I'm so utterly captivated by it. Thank you for continuing to work these "miracles."
  15. That's really weird -- many of those cockpits/HUDs were designed pre-female kerbals, weren't they? Why would they suddenly be off for Jeb?
  16. There was / is a UI framework recently developed -- but maybe it doesn't offer what you're looking for, either. It simply made things look somewhat "modern" (by some visual estimations):
  17. @allista I love the new interface. having the controls broken out like that can really simplify the experience without losing features. Just splendid!
  18. I guess the up-side is -- you were popular enough to be on the front page.
