  1. Well, using KIS can be a pain when you're EVAing, with RCS on, and dragging a part from your inventory to where you want to place it makes your Kerbal rotate around. I know you're talking sliders, but they're mouse+drag too and can suffer the same problem.
  2. Hi, there! The game has improved a bit since 1.0.5. Since you're into engineering, you should check out @Whackjob's creations
  3. Thread moved to Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
  4. Do you mean the Add-on Development subforum? Or the Plug-in Help and Support one?
  5. Avatar 2: Nuke'em From Orbit, It's The Only Way To Be Sure.
  6. I am not disagreeing with you (that was my major peeve about it), but don't you think Luke's Hero's Journey was also 150% derivative of classical myths to begin with? I do, and it's still pretty fun.
  7. Pots and pans! Knives! And a barbecue grill! And I'm so happy about it. Ah, being a grown-up. (I cooked on the pots already, and they're good)
  8. You can turn off the spoon-fed ships, or just delete them from the VAB/SPH Welcome! Let the exploration flow, you're not constrained by your agency's budget or your boss anymore!
  9. No, you're not dumb either. You're just a single person building a spaceship in a few minutes, rather than an actual Space Program designing such things for months and years. That also shouldn't mean Kerbals are dumb. In fact, if you revert the flight, they never made any mistakes But I agree with the point that the HH should look like a HH, and if you want to use it as an ascension pod that's fine, too. But then it may look funny. I also agree that things should be made more consistent, but not simpler. Like I said, I like the greebles. They have spacey (not sleek cutting edge spacey, but old spacey) feel.
  10. Yeah, I jumped in the boat on 0.17, and you're right. Things had a definite junkyard feel mainly because things were junkyard builds. But, even when I learned nosecones only held you down, I figured it was so marginal I could afford to keep my rockets looking the at least slightest like rockets. Am I making @Veeltch's point here or am I arguing against it? I don't even know anymore
  11. MJ has one, I believe? Not that you'd want to install a complete mod suite for just that, but you can just use the part and drop the MJ module
  12. Took me awhile to recognize you.

    Cool avatar!

  13. To be honest, I like the greebles and trinkets. What I mean by "junkyard philosophy" is the pervasive idea that Kerbals are DUMB LOL and just throw stuff they found lying around toward space. I don't even know what makes it so pervasive; sure, the game has some descriptions that emphasize it ("found lying by the road", etc.), but are those (and the existence of "Stupidity" stat) enough to give off such an impression that #lolsokerbal?
  14. Tem o Contract Configurator; além de desabilitar tipos de contrato Stock, ele permite adicionar contratos novos.
  15. You have 6 posts, so I guess this post of yours didn't need approval already. Welcome, officially!
  16. KerbinSide, eu acho? Rola um, mas não lembro direito qual é
  17. Really? That makes sense, but I've been using 3 fins on almost every rocket since I got this game and it has never been much of an issue. I guess it's only a problem if you already have other design concerns?
  19. I agree. My only dislike about stock looks is the "junkyard philosophy" behind many parts (even in the description text)
  20. Reaction image has been removed from the thread. Remember, posts with content! (And yeah, Debbie Reynolds, too. Dude.)
  21. Preferred terminology: Joking aside, I agree this thread has run its course. Well, yeah, but when you say "much-more-right majority" that is some kind of elitism. Let's just say that the thread poses a question - "Is this a problem?" - which has been answered - "no". Can we leave it at that?
  22. Reaction images have been removed from the thread. Only posts with actual content, you guys!
