  1. (you just answered some in a ninja move, that's fine) Ninja'd AGAIN. Oh, well. Ah, yes, I misunderstood. Let's see if I get it right now: the GroundWorkshop module is already added to stock parts. A part you add to the pack merely has added efficiency, and I think this is where I was going at: if I don't want to add the part, I can improve the efficiency of a stock part to replace it. Am I closer now? (I think I'll just download the mod at my work computer and look at the .cfg files before I get home, anyway) Ah, yes! This is where I was getting at: MODULE { name = GroundWorkshop Efficiency = 1 } (from Mobile Workshop mod part) MODULE { name = GroundWorkshop AutoEfficiency = True } (added to stock crewed parts by MM config) Nice!
  2. Oh, I forgot that EPL has another link in the chain by manufacturing rocket parts before building the ship, so that's extra simplicity points for this one. @allista any major differences I haven't noticed?
  3. I think EPL is already pretty lightweight; the main differences I see is here are: 1, you must decide the end product while still in the VAB, where with EPL you can select any ship to build at any time; and 2, with this you don't get a ship popping out of nowhere and possibly exploding nearby stuff. I like EPL's freedom better with regards to (1), but (2) really caught my attention.
  4. Cool, thanks! I guess it's just a matter of an MM patch to put the Ground Workshop on, say, the Science Lab and go almost stock, right? Will give this a try. Thumbs up.
  5. Looks nice! Two questions: How many new parts/resources does this add? Is it easy to change it (by .cfg's) to use only stock ore as material and stock parts as workshops? I suppose the DIY Kit itself is fairly irreplaceable, specially the part where it grows (nice touch, by the way! I was thinking about something similar some time ago) Can I make the building attached to the ground?
  6. Hey there, welcome to the forums! Where no one calls you crazy for having spent thousands of hours in a single game!
  7. Don't pester authors for updates. If you'll see the post just above yours is from this week, and it says "I'm in the progress of updating to 1.2.2". If you'll also check a couple posts up, there is a link to a thread by another author that has picked up the project.
  8. Thread moved to Modelling and Texturing Discussion. Please, carry on
  9. Me parece uma boa, é um mod bem útil para toda a comunidade de língua portuguesa jogando KSP. Cadê o meu grampeador...
  10. I know, but remember it's low pressure. The oxygen content is pretty much the same.
  11. If it's a combat ship (or one built for any dangerous situations), then in fact that's likely the case, for precisely that reason.
  12. Welcome to the forums! You'll soon see that this game you bought is actually a black hole, and you already crossed the Event Horizon by playing. Now there's no turning back, enjoy your stay Personally, I go for Basic Science, since that enables me to, well, get MORE science. Advanced Rocketry is good for the better engines, but you can make your first orbits without them and advance your techtree then.
  13. (and, thankfully, Shia LaBeouf stepped down) So, the year began with David Bowie, now this. I think it's time you should stop your destruction, Mr. XVI
  14. This is a very old topic, and the screenshots and information in it are terribly outdated. Locking thread.
  15. Just made some MODERATING FOR SCIENCE!. They don't disappear; you keep your rep.
  16. ...and because there's a window of transparency in our atmosphere right there (the others are at longer wavelengths/lower resolution, and not as transparent as this first one until radio)
  17. I applaud your use of words on the title of the thread. It was very sad news indeed. The force is with her.
  18. Basically, almost every fish in the pond came up to the thread-bait, then swam off.
  19. One older classification system used all the letters from A to N, in a sort of continual sequence of the visible characteristics that were perceived at the time, plus letters O, P, Q for some odd-balls. That's before it was known how they related to temperature and particular chemistry of the star. Said system was later revised, temperature was taken to be the major influence in the spectrum appearance, so most letters were grouped into O, B, A, F, G, K, M and reordered by temperature, and some suffixes and sub-classifications were added to account for other particularities.
  20. @tater I think you meant "short camera shots". I get what you mean, tho, and you're right. I didn't notice any other CGI humans except for Tarkin and Leia, tho.
  21. Greetings! You'll find that there are plenty of other users sharing their stories here, be it on youtube, on screen capture comic format, or in prose. Hope you feel at home!
  22. What @Dman979 said; it's a light grey link just right of the "Posted 2 hours ago" line. When something is reported, it appears for us mods to discuss what to do about it (if anything). It's possible we take action on it and you never see it; we may not post anything in the thread in question, but have a (usually gentle) 1-on-1 with the offender instead (I say that because some people seem to want to see the other party being scolded in public; we try out best not to do that). The same goes for moderator posts, too. After all, reported content goes for discussion of all mods, so it's possible one of us gets the talk from the rest. Most likely, however, our reaction will be more like "oh, really?" I'd also like to say that reporting on posts (and explaining your reasons in the message box) is preferable to calling out on the offending party yourself
