  1. Granted, sharks are now perceived as kitten eaters and are hated by all internetkind. I wish I were a great inventor. Edit: grammar
  2. Let everyone just keep casting enormous farts. ardkl A shame but let's are two words.
  3. It's not their fault, you know. It's the fault of your parents and above all yours as elder siblings have probably the largest influence on their younger siblings so I'd rate you (10+2.5*2(girl modifier))/2 = 7.5 on a scale of bad siblings. I've spent a lot of time with my brother and he turned out great. I might've been a bit strict so he behaves far more mature than his peers but that'll even out soon - 1A as 0 is impossible. Could've made a pool for this.
  4. Apple helped popularize many things, their marketing is top notch no doubt, but I don't think they ever developed anything groundbreaking. Tablets were ripped from SO2001. Perfect.
  5. Android as I like my phone to be PC-like. The lack of mass storage and access to the file system in non-jailbroken Apple devices really put me off. I've heard that Windows Phone is great but I've never tried it.
  6. "Education is what remains after one has forgotten what one has learned in school." Physics would probably be better, Jack Welch also graduated in chemical engineering, not business. My personal opinion is that sounds good.
  7. Solipsists would disagree with you.
  8. Actually it has fewest deaths even when you include Chernobyl. People probably fall off wind turbines or somehow die while producing and managing solar p.p. rather often.
  9. I've once spent so much time at a computer that I've temporarily stopped seeing with one eye. I've really freaked out but I couldn't do anything about it so I went to sleep and I could see again on the next day. I've been a little more careful from that day on.
  10. I have G75VW (predecessor with larger screen) and it's a great machine. Good display, silent, powerful. I'm having some problems with the battery now but otherwise it's taken all my abuse rather well. Sound could be better but I use a headset anyway. Recommended.
  11. First thing that came to my mind. Finally a museum alternative.
  12. Only #1 is unknown, really. The rest are rather obvious.
  13. I came in the 0.19 era (just missed the launch tower) and have very fond memories of it. I saw KSP quite high in game category on some torrent site (TPB? KAT? I'm not sure.) so I tried it and got hooked for about 3 months during which I hardly even slept. Bought the game soon after and till this day it's probably the best spent gaming money in my life. Edit: It seems we all think alike.
  14. Obvious drawbacks: Enormous energy consumption Difficult to eliminate sideways motion Braking (similar problem to 2.) Expensive, needs frequent (again expensive) repairs Now the pros: No friction => great for trains but we already use it that way Comfortable, can overcome obstacles Looks cool Hoverboards (we have till October 21, 2015) The drawbacks are significantly larger than the positives, especially for safety concerns - friction is good for cars.
  15. No. I'm sure it's well within the scope of our abilities but so is inhabiting other planets which is far more important. United world government might speed things up (or slow down if it's full of hippies like the current EU) but it still doesn't make any sense. There is the rule of interstellar travel that after you send a ship on a voyage you can build an even better ship that will arive there sooner. To send a ship to stars we need to be either very close to the physical limits of technology or in a dire need of doing so which won't happen for a while, certainly not within 100 years.
  16. Lol. But really, box shaped rockets fly quite well even in FAR and even IRL. Fortunately they heat up now so punching through the atmosphere is no longer possible.
  17. Same for me. They should really return it ASAP.
  18. Thanks. You're always there for the less trivial questions.
  19. As the others said it wouldn't last any relevant timeframe. But let's go even further and say we have two identical universes which we are not part of. This experiment is run in both of them while being recorded on a camera. After the experiment ends we access both of these universes and check the results recorded on those two cameras. Would they be the same?
  20. Good job, it works and looks great. Is it capable of ferrying fuel (e.g. the X200-32 half-jumbo tank) to space?
  21. Planet Explorers looks very interesting. Do you need to be online to play it?
  22. I've found this, but I don't think it's worth anything.
  23. Send a new rover. Curiosity can't circumvent Mars either. Still, if such a mod existed I would probably use it out of convenience.
