Thomas988
Never in my life did I think it was possible for KSP to look better than Space Engine. Blackrack, looks like you've proven me wrong!

Majorjim!
I experimented a bit with the atmosphere shader today.Current shader:http://i.imgur.com/C3BR8pA.jpgNew shader:http://i.imgur.com/gWYEjJi.jpgSetting 2:http://i.imgur.com/fzVnG96.jpgWith EVE clouds:http://i.imgur.com/tQ80ozP.jpgNew shader with EVE clouds:http://i.imgur.com/kSsBm2e.jpgThoughts on this? Also I know everything is more or less getting the "sunset" tint for now but this will be fixed later to only areas actually in sunset.I'll look into it.This is so beautiful! It's absolutely perfect, beyond what I thought could be done in KSP. Well done man, very well done indeed. I would pay for this. With money. Drew Kerman
is the new shader taking into account what a planet of Kerbin's dimensions and atmosphere would actually look like or is your goal to just make it look like Earth? blackrack
is the new shader taking into account what a planet of Kerbin's dimensions and atmosphere would actually look like or is your goal to just make it look like Earth?Earth, since Kerbin is an earth analogue. Also, Earth looks pretty good. Edited September 15, 2015 by blackrack

erona
The New shader with EVE clouds pic is spot on. That's where I would love to see the final version of this end up. Wonderful work Blackrack. Proot
blackrack, once again: thank you!http://imgur.com/a/Kpn60These are some of the best KSP pictures that I've seen so far, for real. Congrats.I drop here some of my recent KSPRC pics.Javascript is disabled. View full albumI'm in love with the new atmo shader, much more realistic. In combination with a better oceanic reflection (with your new shader for the water or with the wip-EVE planetary ground new capabilities) KSP could reach levels of hyperrealism.A great, truly great work. Will this somewhat remove the bleaching brightness effect on bright land areas? Also would there be anyway to add a slight red/pink tint to white objects that are viewed through high amounts (from low angles) of haze; such as clouds? Blacks
one litle problem or something what it's not right, at list in my eye, aka new atmosphere shader about blackrack speak it add to much red color what affect ground to much (it create impression Kerbin it become a new Mars planet) BUT if that can be tune, edit then it is fine

Nhawks17
I can't hand out enough rep to show the gratitude I have toward all of the visual mod devs, what you guys do has me truly in awe, that new atmosphere shader has KSP reaching new frontiers and I really cannot believe KSP is able to do this, wonderful work, wonderful freaking work. HafCoJoe
Random question... would it be possible to add a tool to control ocean color when it comes around? It would be a cool feature to be able to make water have a slightly different color for different latitudes in my video. Just a thought

HafCoJoe
Ocean color is manage by Eve see terrain.cfg beter to not see 2 mod doo same thing aka end finghting each other ups i am a noob "make water have a slightly different color for different latitudes" ... scrach all what i say but this it will be good still to manage by Eve or see witch mod to deal beter with this Blackrack has been sharing images about creating actual waves on the water. It wouldn't be related to EVE's ocean color because it would replace EVE's water with an actual set of waves. See this post.Oh and BlackRack... would it be possible to change the transparency in the same way... lol I'm thinking it might be nice when near land to see the ocean floor.
