John FX
sweet, when I get back to my machine I will test it out. EDIT : Oh, and of course the required question - When will <insert favourite mod here> be updated? Come on, I need it *now* to test the stock game. Bah this game is rubbish without <insert favourite mod here>. I just want to know when it will be updated! void_error
I think you'll have to edit some cfg files for the old parts to use the new meshes/textures, correct me if I'm wrong.

I didn't see a readme or anything in the ZIP folder. Also, where do I find the pre-release on the KSP store? Thanks! Don't know about Porkjet's models. I'm too busy playing testing the game to check out an art pass Regarding the location of the download, it's exactly where you normally get your updates, only a little further down. If you're a Windows user you can't just click the icon, you have to pick from the list below it.
tg626
Proceed as follows Open the "ksp-root/GameData" folder in a seperate window Open the archive click on "PartOverhauls" click on "GameData" You should now see a folder called (once again) "PartOverhauls" Drag and Drop that folder over into your window with "ksp-root/GameData" open in it. You should now have a "GameData/Squad" and a "GameData/PartOverhauls" and PJs modeling goodness. ...? Profit! NOTE: This mod does NOT replace parts, rather it adds new parts with new looks and identical names/specs. blejzu
I'm playing on Mac and I've noticed huge performance degradation. AVB is almost unusable. But once the rocket is launched performance is quite normal. Can someone else confirm the same problem?

Araym
Question: once the stable-official 1.2 release would be out, will we have a new patcher file from 1.2-prerelease to the final 1.2 version, or will we need to patch it from a previous 1.1.3/1.0.5 version??? Superfluous J
Just now, Corw said: The porkjets part overhaul parts? How? Oh, you replied to a description of how to get the prerelease, not how to get the extra bonus parts. PorkJet's parts overhaul is not a release, so you should not be getting it from the downloads page OR from Steam. It's more of a mod, and you should be getting it from whatever link they provided in the announcement. I assume the link you put in your post is to that. Tyko
I saw in the advanced game settings (when setting up a new save) that you can select for Kerbals to get experience immediately instead of waiting until Recovery
