Indeed, I'm most interested. Konstructs works, if your mod doesn't, I'll try to work something out myself first.

Hi tried and tested your roads mod yesterday and although they load fine and are usable they break the KK editor meaning no new instances can be placed (spoilered rest of response as its KK related)

The version of KK i use is extremely robust and can be upset by one thing in particular,  since your roads were made things have changed in KK and the auto concave collider generation is now very effective, so much so that in most cases an actual model collider as placed in unity  is not required, 

Although i have not exported a track part I'd imagine that on the complex parts there are several parts/meshes or many colliders, the many colliders is not such a big deal but the many meshes is, and again this is just supposition on my parts but I'm guessing that the track parts are divided into several meshes and in the detaching of the individual mesh parts and odd edge or vert has become detached, this freaks out KKs editor and will likely produce a load of collider related errors in the log. 

My advice is , if you have the original assets is to make them all one part again and weld all the verts, and then see what happens,  I'd be willing to assist if you can't face the mountain of exporting converting etc

EDIT: I think we -as a forum- are kinda proving to ourselves that nobody can agree long enough to organize a season of events. It was said before in this thread:

Wow there's some great stuff in this thread, but please keep the topic of race ideas in mind, and remember these are all just guides, a member is still free to make a race with their own rules and format.

If I were Scott Manley, I would. And people would watch it, because that would be cool. But that requires all the pre-requisites we are talking about here: route layout, vehicle classification, time-keeping...

And that's really what were talking about, here. Not the race itself. The tools to rapidly organize one.

Side note: a race between four friends in split-screen offers no opportunity for a passer-by to join in on the fun. Unless your hobby is commenting on YouTube. In that case, don't let me stand in your way :)

And for the record as we've discussed it elsewhere, and for any interested plugin writers who may be passing through,  

What is needed is a low impact plugin that applies a part module to a probe core  or whatever, using MM  ,

The function of this module would be in partnership with another such module record the elapsed time for  a vehicle  passing within, say 5 mtrs of the first module and arriving at the second module point.  Why a probe core? well whatever is used has to be able to be used as a navigation reference and a such needs to be selectable as a valid target. and also be a stock part, so that no parts are needed for a download, just a little plugin and a cfg. I don't think that  needing official timing should be considered anti stock

The final requirement is to record these times in a human readable form, so as to remove the requirement for a dozen screenshots on even a short event, this in itself would make entry and submission of results a lot easier  less involving/time consuming than it is at present . 

The races mod although great in its own way,  has non of the described features and it's lacking them means it's less versatile than it could be, and scuppers a lot of potential uses.

I was commissioned a little while ago for a grandstand static for KK for races, and, well, feature creep occurred.

Still wip in places, but if anyone wants or is interested in premade circuits or standardized race track parts to built their own for KRL events, I should be able to get things to a releasable state within a week or so.

I'd LOVE to build one'a these! Standardized (Priority max) AND premade (Priority meh) please

I'd probably (but no promises, so don't let it sway ya') have it in a few videos as well. W'da'ya think about a Munar, Evean, Dunian, and Vallar race track?
