What should I name my rocket?

This is my first expedition to Eve, though it is unmanned.  I have sent things to Duna, but on multiple flights.  This is my first time sending up multiple probes/missions on one flight to another body.  Its based off my own Delta IV Heavy design and launch profile.  I just don't think the name Eve Package will cut it for my ship.  Any creative people out there:  What should I call this mission, and therefore the relays and lander attached to it?

Just for the record, I am NOT creative. My rockets are sometimes called "Thing" I name my rockets dumb things, or I give them temporary designation codes that look OK. I would name this one RDV-NRT-EVE. RDV meaning Relay Dispensing Vehicle, NRT meaning Non-Return, and EVE as the destination. I only use 3 letters for the destination one. I would call the lander "ES-1"(It comes from "Emerald Sunrise, which is what I call all of my Eve missions. Apparently the youtube god Nassault came up with it. Anyway, I think it sounds cool) and just name the two probes COM-EVE-ALPHA and COM-EVE-BETA. It looks pretty stupid, but it works for every planet and you can easily tell its purpose if you forget just from the map view.

Here are all of my current designations:

RSV-Rapid Science Vehicle

NRT-Non-Return

RT-Return

STA-Station

RVR-Rover

-C (placed at the end of each name)-Crewed

COM-Communications Satellite

MO-Moho. Project name: Merkury

EVE-Eve, obviously. Project name: Emerald Sunrise

KER-Kerbin, usually omitted because there is no need

DUN-Duna. Project name: Konstellation

DRS-Dres (but who needs this one anyway?)

ASRE-Asteroid Redirect

JL- Jool - Project Name: Titan

ELO-Eeloo - Kerbal Frontiers

SOL-Kerbol, Project name: Icarus

HerobrineLiu: Nice designation list.  That'll be good for organization.

SiriusRocketry: Maybe Kagellan instead?  I remember the phrase "adding k to every word."

Genovast: Or rather Untitled 47, 47A, 47B, 47C.  It _is_ multiple parts.

Gargamel: Now you seriously have me considering doing the Elkano challenge.  However, this is not a circumnavigation.

I'll probably go with Kagellan and add some designation to the relays.

Then don't name either Magellan nor Elcano!  :D

And use the @ infront of a users name to ping them, let's them know they've been mentioned in a thread.  @GKSP

Let me see.

"Eve Science Laboratory", codename/short form "ESL", nickname "Discovery"

(The naming scheme is based on the Curiosity rover, which is officially called the Mars Science Laboratory. I'm so creative.)

Over the years I've seen a number of threads like this asking; What should I name my rocket? How do you name your rockets? What are good rocket names? etc.

So, just for the heck of it, I've asked Google... and the following are what came up;

http://www.scifiideas.com/spaceship-name-generator/
https://www.rocketreviews.com/rocketry-name-generator.html
http://www.fantasynamegenerators.com/spaceship-names.php
http://www.springhole.net/writing_roleplaying_randomators/spaceship_namer.htm

and I even found an old topic on KSP reddit from 2 years ago on the subject lol...

First mission to Eve? Robotic?

I feel that "Adam" is appropriate here.

^ which is exactly what I did with my first experimental lander (designed to be manned, but tested with a probe core), the "Adam-Lander-1". :D

"Peregrine Falcon" (or just one of those) for the whole thing, as the Peregrine Falcon is the fastest bird on the Earth. Right before the Eve capture burn you will probably be going the fastest you've ever gone (besides solar relative velocity), at around 4-4.5km/s, unless you've done something crazy.

For the lander, I'd suggest a name that emphasizes fire, as Eve tends to heat stuff up a lot and is hot on the surface. Maybe Dragon, or Dragonborn. Fire Knight, Descender, Ember, Ignis, Candle...

If you send a rover, you should call it WALL-E, you know, because Eve. Phoenix would be good for an ascent vehicle, because of the whole "rising from the ashes" thing.

I give the rockets proper names, but I also add the payload weight capacity, for example "Tiberius 18t." , or "Moebius 80t.", and then I add another name for the specific payload, for example "Tiberius 18t - Rescuer" (docking port, KLAW, winches, extra passanger room, etc. to pick up stranded kerbals). Or "Moebius 80t - Minmus lander". (nice legs, life support for the trip and some stay, robust electric system, etc.)

It helps sort them out when you have a lot of ships saved. If you name your ship "Carl" and "Carl v2", "Carl v3", you have to load them to know what they have or what they can do
