AlamoVampire
Two sad losses. Gene WAS the BEST Lex Luthor. Michelle Trachtenbergs passing surprises me. Younger than me! Just wow. 074202272025

AlamoVampire
@StrandedonEarth i had heard about the liver transplant too. Likely a complication maybe? Im sure the truth will out. As to gene, CO is highly probable given he, his wife, and doggo all died together. Very sad all around. 105602272025

Wow, Michelle Trachtenberg was so young. Hadn't followed her since Buffy ended. She didn't look well at all in recent phones. Gene Hackman was an amazing actor, with so many fantastic roles. Apparent CO poisoning has been ruled out. Will have to see if something gets announced later. AlamoVampire
Im surprised it wasnt CO (at least according to recent reports) in the deaths of Gene Hackman, his wife, and his dog. Something fishy is going on. 083703012025
StrandedonEarth
Yes, the Hackman deaths have been deemed suspicious, and they had been dead for some time. One dog died (it was in a kennel) but two survived. Definitely weird

One dog died (it was in a kennel) but two survived. Definitely weird This is the first time I head that the deceased dog was in a kennel. Considering the amount of time after the initial death, t could have played out like this: Gene Hackman passed away in some way (even a fall can kill). In distress, not thinking of anything else, his wife kill herself. The dog confined in a kennel died from thirst. The 2 dogs unconfined (1 inside, 1 outside) had access to enough water and food to survive. With good examination of the scenes and the 3 deceased, things should be roughly figured out eventually. She has a nonprofit (i think its nonprofit> that sends books to kids up until age 5 or 6. A thing I find truly spectacular! However. I find her unattractive. She has had too much alteration and most if not all of it in the name of vanity. Do not get me wrong plastic surgery has its place. Even I have had a minor plastic surgery (to correct an oral defect below my lower front teeth. Gum tissue as a child was too thin after my adult teeth came in and oral plastic surgery was needed to correct it). But vanity alterations to me diminish attractiveness. Im all for medically necessary plastics but not vanity plastics. But its subjective on what we find attractive. 134703042025
TheSaint
Dolly Parton hit the big time, she won the show business lottery. And then she turned around and took all of that, her fortune and her fame, and she poured it back into the podunk, craphole town she grew up in and did everything she could to improve the lives of the people who helped her grow up when she had nothing. If this world had a million more Dolly Partons, it would be an immensely better place. I was very sad when I heard that her husband had passed, because I know that when your true love of half a century passes, you aren't far behind. RIP. StrandedonEarth
Well. The plot thins. It appears Gene Hackman's wife died up to a week before Gene, from hantavirus pulmonary syndrome. Gene may not have been aware of her death due to advanced Alzheimer's, but given where his body was found, it's possible he was finally seeking help when his heart gave out. A sad story.
