Stick a capsule on an SRB, put a chute on top, and launch it. See how far it goes. Add parts and see what happens. Keep doing this until you land interesting places. That's pretty much the whole game.

I have a tutorial series that will help you get your first launch done. After that you're on your own as I have kind of let that fall to the wayside. I really need to stop taking on so many side projects.

It depends on what you mean. First off, are you on PC or Console?? And you need to be specific, terminology isn't a big deal right now, but we need to know what you need help with. We can't help with something we know nothing about.

Probably the best advice you can get, without anybody knowing where you are stuck at or what you have/have not tried so far...check the in-game tutorials.  Loads of great information right there about how to build a rocket, staging, launch, the buildings, thrust/throttle, orbiting, the Mun...pretty much everything you might need help doing the first couple of times you dive into the game.
