Some popular glider manufacturers are , DG Flugzeugbau GmbH, Schempp-Hirth Flugzeugbau GmbH, Alexander Schleicher Segelflugzeugbau, Gomolzig Flugzeug- und Maschinenbau GmbH, Lange Aviation GmbH, and Scheibe Flugzeugbau. All of these are German companies

Flugzeug is aircraft in German, Bau is construction in German, and GmbH is basically the German version of LLC.
