1) The team decided it was time to design an EVE SSTO to rescue Kurt Kerman, who had been languishing on the lonely planet for decades.

3 But some Kerbal Terrorists put a  bunch of Kapple(A kerban high explosive fruit that is equal to 500 t C4)in the fuel tank and it exploded.

4: Thanks to that massive boost in performance the rocket got to the Lonely Planet in record time. It jettisoned that section and sent a lander that successfully recovered Kurt Kerman. They then started the slower trip home using their Ion engines.

2) The crew of the NSEA-Protector ran around in blind panic. "What does the Omega 13 device do?" asked Commander Taggart over his communicator. "Most think that it's a bomb capable of destroying the entire universe in thirteen seconds, but I and others believe that it is a matter rearranger, which effectively makes you travel thirteen seconds into the past", squeaked the geeky teenager he was speaking to.

3 Then they hear a big explosion sound. That's the last thing they feel. The site is destroyed, along with the escaping creatures.
