Alright, I'm going to let you guys decide what launches MOK 2.

The N1 which will be found in a warehouse:

Or the newer and still in production Energia Vulkan Herakles:

Definitely the N1. I feel like that'd be much cooler. There have been variants of the Energia that have launched, but there's never been an N1 launch... that's succeeded.

Well, Energia Vulcan Herakle never launched... never even got off the paper, but alright.

N1: 1

EVH: 0

@GoldForestI'm all for Energia. It is such an underutilised rocket with so much potential. It's story really saddens me and it would be really cool to see what is this family truly capable of.

Er... 2.5 to 1.5? 3 to 2?

Also, knowing your semi-cursed nature, you want me to combine the two launchers, don't you?

Nova Stella 2: MOK-2

The launch of Mok 2 was a highly debated topic. Construction was fine and on schedule, that wasn't the problem. Nor was finding a launch provider. What was the problem was what to launch MOK-2 on. Energia wanted to use their Energia Vulcan Herakles, but the public wanted MOK-2 to launch on an N1 that had been found sitting in a warehouse. The Russia government was in a bit of a pickle. On one hand, they wanted to use please their space industry. On the other hand, they wanted to please their citizens, as well as space enthusiast around the world. Energia didn't really want to waste money on a launch vehicle that was outdated and old. In the end though, the Russian government came to a deal with Energia. Energia would restore and make sure N1 was good for launch, and the Russian government would foot the bill.

It took months for Energia to ensure that N1 was ready for launch. They had a few mishaps, but nothing that threatened the launch vehicle itself.

Finally, the day came, and N1 was standing on the pad with MOK-2 safely secured in the fairing. Due to the weight of Mok-2, extra support had to be put into the rocket, but calculations showed N1 would still be able to lift off.

People tuned into the public broadcast of this ancient relic about to launch.

(Project's not dead, just been playing around with other stuff in KSP, so things might be slow. Might also be starting a new thread soon, so keep and eye out for that. :P )

Expedition 1-R-A and 1-R-B

Flown by: Orel atop Angara A5 and Soyuz atop Soyuz

Russia is the first to launch crew to Stella Nova, though the crew consists of an international presence. This is also the first operational launch of Orel, Russia's newest spacecraft, able to hold four people.

Yeah, surprised there aren't any mods that have a dedicated Orel spacecraft. Especially Tantares.
