Description

Shoemaker is a KSP2 mod that is an addon for Patch Manager, that allows for the modification of galaxy definitions, and celestial bodies, along with the preexisting atmospheres and clouds thereof, it does this by adding 4 new rulesets for Patch Manager to use

yes! planet adding tutorial on github wiki when it happens plz?

Of course
I'll have to write up all the steps (once I get a planet working, which I'm in the stages of figuring out)

Does this allow for editing of orbital parameters or just the parameters of the bodies themselves?

From what I can tell on the GitHub wiki, you can do all of this so far:

  1. Create galaxy definitions
  2. Modify existing planets
  3. Modify planetary atmospheres and clouds

It currently does NOT support:

  1. Creating custom planets
  2. Adding atmosphere/clouds to planets that don't have them (i.e. no 1500 km atmosphere for Gilly)

By 'modify existing planets' does that include orbital parameters or *just* the attributes of the planet in question. For example, can give Kerbin a tilt? Can I put the Mün on an inclined orbit? Can I make Minmus have a highly eccentric orbit?

Yep, you can do all that.

Oh, it has axial tilt support? Cool. I seem to remeber that in KSP1 giving planets tilt sometimes caused issues with atmospheric mods like EVE and Scatterer, how's the KSP2 stock cloud system holding up?

Axial tilt is supported in the stock game, so I assume it has no issues with clouds.

Are there any planets with an axial tilt in the stock game?

Many! Even Minmus has a slight tilt. You can see it in one of the the info pages in the tracking station.

I was surprised when I found out how many slight tilts there are in the Kerbol system, considering before they had stated they weren't going to change anything about the planets' parameters.
