  1. -19 WAIT WAT NO I come back from work and it's nearly up to zero again???? Damn you guys!
  2. A few topics back, people were discussing that someone discovered a magical engine that propelled by pushing against quantum fluctuations, and this forum went ablaze with people who actually have PhDs in physics and people who think they have, bashing heads over wether this was actual science or just the usual press BS. - - - Updated - - - Oh, just for the record, there's no way for me to actually know which of the people had PhDs, but it's clear from the content of this forum that some people are gonna have one.
  3. Unfortunately, still true. I'm not german either, but my nationality has its share of bad stereotypes, too, and I find it sad in either case. Granted, too many of us work hard too keep that stereotype, and as with almost anything, it's the loud minority that gets noticed, right?
  4. Sometimes a fin or cubic octogonal strut gets in the way after you put the lines and splits one, rendering it useless (i.e., it becomes attached to the fin instead of the tank). Or sometimes I make an adjustment to the fuel line, only to find out I wasn't in symmetry mode and there's a fuel line in one tank only. IMO, that's the most likely; check all your fuel lines! Also, you don't need the first dropped boosters to feed both the next boosters and the central stack; have them feed the next boosters, and the next boosters feed the central stack.
  5. FEED ME HUMAN. (some text in non-caps) - - - Updated - - - THERE WILL BE A DAY when I will make a joke, Brainlord Mesomorph will laugh and Mad Rocket Scientist will cringe. And I will screencapture that.
  6. The last podcast Excel an unfortun cover de Today is Noble, it Jordan to be out th read it ye of faith t me. So, let's that time numbers second y pivot tab them bu that muc think th simulatio stress an not inte knowled After ab [snip longer sample] Yeah. Make sense of -that-
  7. This description alone is... but then I googled it... BY GOD!
  8. I totally understand that, and approve your initiative! I've read the thread on your mod, found it very interesting. I'm just saying that my standards are lower...
  10. Me, too. I, for one, would love if Eve had not only a dense atmosphere, but fierce winds throwing my ship everywhere. - - - Updated - - - Hey there! That's awesome to read, but personally I'd be satisfied with a simplistic simulation.
  12. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! But, but... work is precisely where I need this forum the most!! But then, I'll just be arriving at work when the server will be coming back. Thank Spode for the time zones What, you didn't know about that? It's definetely a thing! Now you made me laugh!
  13. Because the vessel landing could hit one of those rovers, and unless physics is running for them the game will never know. That's what Nietzsche meant (THAT'S a sentence I don't utter everyday ) by "float thru" - - - Updated - - - I suppose you could code it so that collision detection is independent from inter-part structural physics, but then I also suppose it would have to be coded from scratch.
  14. Conseguir acoplar (OBRIGADO POR ME DESCOBRIR ESSA PALAVRA EM PORTUGUÊS!) pela primeira vez é realmente um feito que dá orgulho na gente. Hoje em dia eu faço quase de olho fechado XD
  15. Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking. USI-LS is great for it's simplicity of resource management; the only thing it lacks for permanent settlement is a way to create fertilizer out of something (ore?), with needed infrastructure in place.
