  1. uh... there's a giant green aster- just kidding, great progress!!! you go my man!
  2. thank you very much @ValiZockt, will try out right away!
  3. looks absolutely gorgeous!!!! congratulations for this super beauty!
  4. Yeah - I'd say having to re-install after one minor change is a common practice for RSS/RO installs. What I usually do every time KSP updates to a new version and I need to create a new install is to download the basic, minimum mods for RSS & RO to work, and to check if that install works. Once checked, I move it a side and save it as a base install for that given KSP version. I now know I have a working RSS/RO install for that KSP version, and having saved it elsewhere enables me to make copy versions of said install and fiddle around with extra mods without the risk of compromising the whole install. In terms of CKAN, the app usually deletes the mod's folder upon deletion, but the tool also has several bugs so I'm not surprised by what happened to you. Remember CKAN also has the ability to scan your install folder and auto-detect manually installed mods, so don't be afraid of manually deleting a mod as CKAN will scan your install folder on startup and reflect installed mods, regardless of the installation method.
  5. Hey guys, hope everyone's doing great today! I have several KSP crafts I'd like to find out what mods I've used to create them. The objective behind this is to list all necessary mods needed to be able to open said crafts in KSP. Are there any mods or apps that provide this? Or is there any way to extract this information from save files and/or logs? Thanks in advance!
  6. holy!!!!!!!!! isn't that a gorgeous KSC right there!?????? congratulations @Katniss218!!! I will try it out with RP-1 and see if I can attest to compatibility
  7. Enjoy it man! The RSS + RO mods open up a whole new game in my opinion! I've never played stock KSP!
  8. That's correct, 1.9.1 is not yet supported - I suggest rolling back to 1.8.1 In terms of RAM usage, power consumption & heating - the best way to know is just trying! Mod-intensive installs will definitely use up more RAM than stock, but you can start with a few mods and take it from there: if there's still room for adding, just keep going until your PC begs you to stop! EDIT: If I were to start with RSS and RO, I would install said mods and dependencies, and add ROTanks, ROCapsules, ROSolar and ROEngines. With that you should be able to start a good game. After playing for a bit, I would go back to the RP-1 Guide's Extra Mod list and see from my playtime experience what mods I'd like to try out first.
  9. That is correct good Sir, recovery via KCT is the way to go!
  10. If under RP-1, select "Recover to SPH/VAB" to be able to re-utilize the vessel. Note you will need to roll it out again from the KCT menu.
  11. Guys, I recommend you refer to the Realistic Progression 1 Installation Guide & Wiki. Although I would not recommend you to install RP-1 just yet (I'd say first get acquainted with RSS and RO, and then after gaining some experience maybe try tackling RP-1), its installation guide offers a clear & detailed walkthrough on how to install RSS and Realism Overhaul. There is also a section of Recommended Extra Mods that you'll certainly enjoy in the upscaled RSS environment. https://github.com/KSP-RO/RP-0/wiki
  12. looks very nice, congrats on the release!! I will try it out as soon as Realism Overhaul support is introduced!
  13. The regular Realism Overhaul utilizes stock mechanics for recovering vessels. If you recover a vessel, you'll be reimbursed for the value of the recovered parts, but the vessel will be disassembled and you will have to build it again to re-fly. At the risk of incorporating significant complexity, Realistic Progression 1 (https://github.com/KSP-RO/RP-0/wiki) introduces the mechanics I believe you are after. By using the Kerbal Construction Time mod, RP-1 offers the ability to recover a vessel, re-fuel it & re-fly it with minimal lead times.
  14. this is really cool @Nightside! I will test and provide feedback, but I can already see this mod being a part of all my games! thank you for your work!
  15. that's a very biased and uninformed opinion right there! I would have stated "I don't find a good way to play it", with the bonus perk of being able to get suggestions on how to enjoy it.
  16. El comportamiento descrito aquí arriba es un clásico bug del KSP. Les recomiendo se dirijan al siguiente mod:
  17. you will find supported versions on the thread's title
  18. did you manage to escape that supernova??? :$
