  1. If this is true you might have a very very popular mod on your hands; I'm looking forward to implementing it. The pictures explaining the mod are quite helpful.
  2. Haven't tried it yet but this looks fantastic, great work @Booots Is this currently the only mod that allows "closed-loop" vessel building?
  3. @linuxgurugamer you are a machine, I've lost count how many mods you've revived/adopted. Keep up the great work.
  4. @DStaal I am using KPBStoMKS, that must be it. Guess I didn't read the part description close enough. Thanks for the reply!
  5. @Nils277 and @CobaltWolf I have found a very small redundancy with SEP and KPBS. My VAB currently shows the SEP Central Station wedge twice (two different parts with slightly different descriptions). I'm assuming both KPBS and SEP include the part in their installs, but I could easily be wrong. Do they both function exactly the same? IMO it would be nice if the SEP Central Station wedge was only be bundled with one or the other to eliminate a duplicate. My vote would be to bundle it with KPBS. Just thought I would let you both know. Thanks for all the hard work you guys put into these mods.
  6. Been subscribed to this thread since Saturday. Continually impressed with the back and forth discussion between @Merkov and @DStaal, keep up the great work you guys.
  7. Hi @DStaal, just found this mod after a few weeks of playing with MKS and KPBS. It's looking great and I'm excited to test it out. In your opinion, is this mod safe to use in my main save? Or should I wait until an official release in the "add-on release" forums? Thanks for all your work on this.
  8. @Enceos From looking at Github it seems 1.1.0 is the latest greatest version of OSE. Is that the version you would recommend?
  9. Great mod @Galileo, been using it for a few months now. I just noticed that KSP has it's own "Terrain Detail" slider under graphics settings. Will this have any effect on SVT? If yes, what setting should I have it on to play well with SVT?
  10. Echoing @tomgle question about installation, I've read back a couple forum pages and couldn't find anything about the pruners/un-pruners. @Kerbas_ad_astra would you mind giving the greenhorns a dumbed-down explanation on which files to grab from GitHub? Do we need to download the pruners? Also, should we download the 1.2 branch or the master branch?
  11. * New to manual modding * I'm thinking about installing IFS but am slightly confused how it relates to or compliments other similar fuel/texture switching mods. Is there a good article or TL;DR that compares IFS, Config Cont, and Firespitter? I have the latter two installed as decencies to other mods already. Does IFS offer additional aspects the game that aren't covered in CC or Firespitter? How compatible are the three together?
  12. @silentvelcro Gorgeous part mods and A++ presentation, looking forward to installing your entire collection.
  13. @Beale This mod looks wonderful. Is there an imgur album showing all/most of the parts? I haven't been able to find a semi-recent one.
  14. @The White Guardian Thanks for the reply. Kopernicus 1.2.2-4 is now installed and working great. I'll look into that ring shader tonight, I've never altered a mod before, looks reasonably easy though. Do you recommend also installing Poodmunds visual overhall in conjunction with this Sarnus shader code? I believe my PC is capable.
  15. @Galileo @smotheredrun I'm currently installing OPM based on the author's instructions (OPM, Kopernicus 1.2.1-1, Custom Barnkit 1.1.10) But I'm curious, do you guys recommend updating to the most recent Kopernicus 1.2.2-4 for any reason? Just wondering what version of Kopernicus is "best" for OPM at the moment... EDIT: To other OPM newbies, DO NOT INSTALL 1.2.1-1 with KSP 1.2.2. See comment below.
  16. New user here, if I'm unable to see MKS on the CKAN repository should I contact the good folks over at CKAN? Or post a troubleshooting request here?
